Stamp with Stampavie & Creative Inspirations

Followed the very lush sketch over at SWS to make this birthday card. I loved layering up so many different papers and flowers. I used a stamp which I think came from a Dawn Bibby stamp set, the papers are K & Co., flowers from my stash. Coloured with my promarkers. I also added gems to the corners so am entering this into the Creative Inspirations challenge which asks for gems and pearls. The centre of the flowers are pearlised but hard to see.

Beautiful Pinky, love the soft pinks and yummy DP's. Do you know I so nearly bought that stamp as I like the swirly effect, still like it and probably 'need' it.

Hi agin Pinky, just seen your question. I'd like to say yes, but truth is I'm not sure. What I have found is that the ultrafine glitter gels together so hides all the glue and gives a good covering,

Not sure if you could achieve the same coverage with larger granules (what do you call bits of glitter ?) as they don't bond togeher the same.I do recall taking a class for a new (to me that is) store last year and they provided some very dubious glitter that just did not work because it was too course. And of course your choicer of glue is important as well.

As you have the glitter I guess you've lost nothing by giving it a go, you'll soon know.

what a stunning card Pinky, great layout and pretty colours. Glad you liked my gg card, I'm pleased with set 3. About the paper I use, I'm lucky to have a papermill shop near by and they have great card, good quality, sometimes I use water colours paper, I was given about 20 pads from church and sometimes I stamp some images and then scan them onto my pc and print out several sheets. For this I use IQ smooth 160gm paper from staples, it's about £8 for 250 but worth it. hope thats what you wanted to know, I can send you images of the new gg set 3 if you want. janex
