Month's Mind

Had two cards to make for a Month's Mind of my late cousin's son who died suddenly a month ago. So sad as he left behind a wife and two little girls. I found the sentiment on google and played about with the text to turn it into word art. The papers are from Paperscraft4You, the flowers are vellum die cuts, which I embossed, from a kit I got years ago from qvc along with the little butterflies, which I coloured with silver here and there. I added some faux stitching round the edges. Its always so hard to make this type of card so I hope this one is ok.
I am entering this into these challenges:
1. Quixotic - How Sentimental
2. Creative Inspirations - punches or die cuts
3. Flutter by Wednesday - flowers and a butterfly, fairy or angel
4. Our Daily Bread Challenge - sentiment as focal point (only found this challenge today)

This is just beautiful, you can see all of the love and care that has gone into it.

Ive not heard of a Months Mind before but I think I might understand the concept from what youve said.

Its such a difficult time for all concerned.
