Who loves crepe?

I DO! I was hunting through my paper box when I came across a pack of pink crepe papers and knew right away I wanted to make a flower. I used to make these years ago, you would have found them in every room at different times of the year.
My card is for my niece who has reddish hair so struggled to capture the right colour but I am sure she will forgive me lol. The crepe flower is so easy to make and I will be making more of them I'm sure. Gave it a little sprinkling of glamour dust to finish it off.
Image - Whiff of Joy
Papers - from my craft box
Medium - pencils
Embellishments - punched border, handmade crepe flower
I am entering this into these challenges:
Whiff of Joy - use lots of layers (bought this stamp way back in April)
Tuesday Morning Sketches - handmade flowers
Ellephantastic - handmade flowers
Oldie But Goodie - pink and girly
My eye test went well, only moved one point in two years in one eye. So pretty pleased.

Because of you, I'm hungry now! I know you used crepe as the name of a paper, but for me, crepe is a French type of pancakes...
Well, even if it can't be eaten, your crepe rose is very nice!

Hi Pinky

I'm on big time catch up, off to look round, but hopefully back into blogland again unrestrained.

That rose is just gorgeous, naturally like all the sparkly bits.

Hi Pinky

Crepe paper .. .. that brought some memories back.

We used to spend hours making crepe paper flowers for attaching to maypoles!!

Ours were never as beautiful as yours though and they certainly never sparkled.

Love Jules xx
