One for my brother

It's my big brother's birthday on the 5th November and he is an accountant by day and a drummer by night but as I always make him a card with a drummer on it I thought I would be a little bit different this year. He is a big beatles fan so decided to go with that. The backing paper is a free wallpaper scene, the beatles picture is from a Music kit from Kanban which I cropped a bit and reframed. I cut lots of hearts using my nesties and punches. Quick and easy and away in the post.
Image - kanban
Papers - freebie
Embellishments - nestie hearts and punched hearts
I would like to enter this into these challenges:
Paper Sundaes - card for boy or man
Anything Goes - the letter B (Beatles)
Die Cut Dreams - no colouring and feature a heart
Oh La La Challenge - remember remember (remembering back to the Beatle days)

Love it, Pinky! Love the retro shapes, especially love the clever Abbey Road reference! You clever thing!

Thanks for your comments on my blog. Fake brayering involves squishing a Big n Juicy onto a craft mat so you transfer the stripes of colour, spraying with a water mister till the ink beads, then laying good cardstock or watercolour paper on top to soak up the stripes. A wet paintbrush will blend the stripes on your card. Hope that makes sense!
