Engaging Bears!

I have not been around much all weekend as I had a bad gallstone attack on Friday night (no I didn't eat any chocolate Christine lol) and I just didn't seem to recover as quickly as usual:( Have been feeling very sick and very tired so just had to take it easy.
This is a card I made last week for my son who needed an engagement card for two friends.
Image - Teddy Bo freebie
Papers - scrap from my box
Medium - coloured with promarkers
Embellishments - not sure what you call the stuff I made the bow from, button brad, heart gems, nestie
Sentiment - stamping all day
I would like to enter this into
The Teddy Bo Challenge - shaped card
Paper Playtime - digi with wedding/love theme
Creative Inspirations - cute bears/animals only
Delicious Doodles - texture
One Stop Crafts - texture
Make It Monday - linky party
Stampin Sisters in Christ - new somethings (my bows)
There She Goes Clear Stamps - milestones

Pinky, hope you are feeling better now. If you've not heard about your others tests yet I would certainly keep on chasing and when you have another bad bout got to A&E. Sometimes it's only going down this avenue that makes appointments come to life and you can certainly do without bouts like this. It might be 18 years since I had my surgery and at the time my son was six months old and I compared it to childbirth!!! Take care. Lovely card by the way. Kym xxx

Hi Pinky,

Gorgeous card, as are all the ones you've posted recently. I can totally sympathise with you re the gallstones. I had them 10 years ago. Worse than childbirth, as Kym says! Fortunately I didn't have to wait long to have surgery. Haven't looked back since. I hope you're feeling much better now, and that they will soon sort you out once and for all.

Hugs, Lynne x

Oh my gosh Patricia, this card is radiant! It is the cutest. Your coloring of the image is faultless...it almost looks like folk art painting, how soft and wonderful shadow like you have managed to do it. The die cut, the scallop on the sentiment, the ribbon...it is all absolutely gorgeous! I can't get over this image...and how you have treated it...it radiates all the love that the image speaks of, because of what you have done. Just gorgeous! Thinking of You! Samara xox
