I have had a heck of a weekend, will explain at the end of this post:(
I had a card request for congratulations to expecting parents. I got myself this lovely image from Digital Pencil Too.

For those who read my blog you know I was suffering from a sinus infection which I thought was clearing up on Friday. But by Friday evening I was feeling miserable and went to bed early. I woke up on Saturday morning and the left side of my face was all swollen, from my mouth up to my eye!! I took myself off to the emergency doctors. They checked me out and couldn't really explain the swelling other than maybe from the infection! I have a new antibiotic, pain killers and a decongestant to take but my face is still very swollen today. Honestly I am beginning to look like Shrek! Fingers crossed it will clear otherwise I will have to go to hospital and have it investigated. 2013 is definitely not as nice a year as I would like.

Hi Pinky a fabulous card love the image! I had problems with my sinus once and my face was swollen in the morning - not as bad as yours by the sound of it - which I put down to fluid pooling - sounds yucky!! Hope the new antibiotics work soon for you xx

Oh what a pain (no pun intended) Pinky. Hope the new set of antibiotics work. I thought they would have sent you to the hospital straight away rather than wait to see if this lot work.
