This is how it started out. This was our old kitchen. We have ripped the tiles off and begun to dismantle the old cupboards and move all the machine to the new utility room.
How horrible is it to see behind old machines and cupboards!!
The new window hole has been made, just waiting on the frame to arrive.
The dividing wall is now up giving us two rooms. One, this side of the door is my craft room, the other side is a little snug for the boys and squirt!
Hubby hard at work levelling the floor for the carpet to be laid.
Carpet is down, painting is finished. Next step is getting the storage sorted:)
and here it is, cube storage from Ikea which I filled far too quickly. I did find that when I broke my wheely drawers up I could fit a large and small drawer into each cube so I will be looking for more of these.
I was glad to be able to keep my large set of wooden drawers, also from Ikea and my printer sits nicely on top for easy access.
This is a view of my messy desk. In the small black drawers to the left I have stored some of my promarkers and copics. These are from the pound shop. Not great as you can only really put two layers of pens in there but I have 3 in each and they tend to jam causing the whole lot of come down round you unless you have a bit of patience when opening them lol.
This is my sewing area. My machine fits nicely in their and there is a plus in the corner so no longer have to trip over wires! My GC fits nicely beside it and my dies are stored in the box on top.
I also stored all my cds here too and below holds some trays of wooden stamps, my paper cutters and my cricut carts.

In the corner you can just about make out my cricut machine, it also has nice easy access to the plug. Below is house a lot of my stamps but I plan to get these into cd cases and store in cd racks on the wall space above. All in all I am very pleased. Its a nice airy room with lots of natural light and its also cosy and not secluded from the rest of the family.
I still have loads of a5 papers, embellishments, glues, tapes etc etc in the back room but I have nowhere to put it at the minute so I am on a MISSION to use up my stash!!

Old Craft Space!
This is the unit I was working on today. I can't get a good pic as I have it stuck right beside my desk and can't get a camera angle. It is about 4ft tall and has 9 drawers. It is holding my inks, ink pads, powders, mirri card, tools, embossing folders, nesties, punches etc etc.
Moving on to another very tall unit! Its about 6ft tall. I got it from our local primary school who were getting rid of it. Its two units stacked on top of each other. I use it to hold my 12 x 12 papers, cards and envelopes, printing papers etc.
I have ribbons, braiding, sticky ribbons etc at the very bottom. All my single ribbons are in glass jars on top of this unit which I didn't seem to get a picture of lol.
To the left hand side of this unit I have my create it stamp unit housing some of the stamps I tend to forget about:( so have put them here to remind me to use them.
Just below that unit I have a cd rack holding my crafters companion, housemouse, and sentiment stamp sets. I cut them up and store them in these cd boxes, really handy.
On the opposite side of the room at the end of my hubby's computer table I have some christmas stamps stored in this little rack.
Moving back to the front of the room to the right of my computer desk I use these little drawer units from the pound shop to store, ladybug stamps, my copic pens, charms, sentiments, pearls, gems and pins.
On top of those there are a set of S'dee stamps, they won't fit in my cd rack, too narrow :(
To the left of my computer I have racks for magazines, papers, 3d sheets etc and little pots for my pens and pencils.
Bit of a dull picture but it shows my computer screen, above which I store my flat pack stamps, peel offs, cds and notepads. On the very top shelf I have different coloured card, watercolour pads, and the two blue packs are full of wooden stamps waiting to be shelved.
This is a small room and has only a small window so the light is not great. Have put a nice lamp on my Christmas list which should help! But for a small room it can store a lot, just need to convince hubby to move out and give me his workspace too lol.
