I'm here with my Tutti Designs card using one of the gorgeous newly released dies.
I just adore this die and have been after one for ages.
For my card I used Love Typewriter Die, kraft card, black glitter card,
scrap of yellow rose paper, heart stamp, sentiment stamp (both See D's Stamps) and a white gel pen.
So first I tore the edges off my rose paper and trimmed to fit my card.
Using the Love Typewriter die I cut it out and embossed it in black glitter card.
I then cut a piece of copy paper wide enough to fit through the little bars in my die
so it looks like a sheet of paper.
I fed the paper through the die cut and adhered with some glue at the back to hold in place.
I used my stamping platform to position my chosen sentiment stamp
Stamped in black memento ink.
I also stamped the little heart border and then positioned my Love Typewriter die cut
on my card, leaving the little sheet of paper slightly curled off the card.
I finished the card off with some faux stitching and some white lines round the little hearts.
Hope you like it!
Please be sure to pop over to the Tutti Designs Store
and check out all of the fabulous dies available.
I am entering this into:
(tell people I care about how much I love them)
What a miserable day we have had here! It actually feels like we had no daylight hours at all. Its cool, wet and windy and apparently we have snow and ice coming in on Monday.
We will never be stuck for words over here in Ireland so long as we have the weather to talk about lol.
We had our little Grandson Sean again on Friday. He was a lot better and a bit more lively thank goodness! So hopefully he will pick up fully over the weekend.
Hope it's nice where you are, and enjoy the rest of your weekend.
What a wonderful New Year's resolution, Pinky! and such a lovely card. That's a really cool typewriter die. I love the black paper you chose for it. Looks like black-painted metal.

Hi Pinky!
ReplyDeleteThank you for entering the Papercraft Business Challenge for the month of January!
Love the glittery typewriter and your creativity on trimming down the cardstock to look like typing paper. While I appreciate technology and computers, something about a typewriter is nostalgic and fun :)
Hope you will keep joining us for future challenges!
