Today I am sharing a little gift box I made using the fabulous
This is the front view of box
and this is back view. I am popping in some little biscuits and a teabag!
With Spring in mind, I chose a nice bright yellow card stock for my box
(though you would never know from my photos lol)
measuring 11 inches x 8 inches.
Using my large score board I scored the card at
1 inch, 5.25 inches, 6.5 inches and 10.5 inches
Then turn your card and score at
1 inch, 6.5 inches and 7.5 inches.
Burnish all the folds and cut away the parts shown in the photo and cut up the lower slits
to form the shape of the box.
Add glue to small flap at right and fold other side over to join and form the box.
Leave flat at this stage.
Cut the lily rose panel die in a different colour (I went with green) and emboss.
Adhere to the front panel of your box using sticky dots or wet glue.
and then stamp your sentiment in middle of rose
I used a circle punch to create an easy opening at the back of box.
I measured a piece of co-ordinating ribbon, formed my box and tied ribbon in place.
I then cut a larger green square and smaller square in stamping card using
I stamped image and sentiment (coloured with promarkers) and layered the squares
with 3d foam and adhered to back panel of my box
which helps to hold ribbon in place.
Fill the box with goodies of your choice.
For my box I used
I also used:
yellow and green card stock
Stamps - Marian Emberson Designs Birds and trees
Medium - promarkers
I am entering this into:
