Close to nature

Our May challenge is now up and running over at Stamping Sensations and it's all about

 ********Close to Nature********

So many options here, flowers, trees, wild animals and insects, in fact anything associated with the wonders of Nature and the great outdoors which surround us every day.

We are sponsored by
We are thrilled to introduce a new sponsor this month Chocolate Baroque, their wonderful rage of stamps really compliment this months theme so do pop over to their web site and take a look and also watch out for them on Hochanda TV.

Just remember STAMPING must be them main feature of your project!!

For my project I went made an eclipse card using the lovely stamps from Donna Ratcliff. I made the background using spectrum noir watercolours and sparkle pens.
The stamps sets are called Magic Garden, Toadstool Home and Fairy Door.
I cut the wording using my Stampin' Up Letter framelits and cut them about 5 times more in black to add lots of layers behind the letters. This is an 8 x 8'' card.

I look forward to seeing all your CLOSE TO NATURE projects this month.

I would like to enter this into
I love the eclipse technique

The sun is shining on and off here today but at least the air
has finally warmed up. So I'm off for a quick clean up
then hope to spend some time in the garden.
Enjoy your day and hopefully you will get to join our challenge this month!!
So stamp, stamp, stamp!!

I'd love you to check out my other blog
where I have lots of Youtube tutorials and card ideas.

It's a beautifully magical scene Pinky and really like how you have done the sentiment, had been wondering how you did it and going to have to give that a go.

Enjoy your Sunday and hope the sun keeps shining as it is here today.

A gorgeous inky card Pinky with a magical scene. I love how you can clearly see the sentiment as it stands out beautifully but it doesn’t detract from the scene. Hope you enjoy the sunshine again today x

A gorgeous and magical scene, Pinky, and one of the best examples of the eclipse technique that I've seen. It immediately made me want to try it! (Haven't had chance yet, but I will!)
