For a friend

Today I am sharing a friendship card using a mixture of dies

I cut the Lily Heart Panel out in orange card
and the Dotted Nesting Square (largest one) in white stamping card.

I glued the Lily Heart Panel to the front of my base card using wet glue.

And having stamped my image and coloured it, I glued the white square
over the top of the panel covering the heart.

I cut the Flower Friends in orange card and glued to my image.
The card was finished with an organza bow.
I thought this gave a whole new look to the Lily Heart Panel
and made a great background for my image.

For my project I used:
Stamp - not sure. I have had for years, it's even gone sticky, but still worked :)
May be from Crafters Companion?
Orange card, neenah stamping card,
Stampin' up black Ink pad
organza ribbon
Aqua pens, water, paintbrush

I am entering this into:

Another dull day here today but we are heading out anyway!
Hope you enjoy your weekend, whatever you are up to!
Thanks for dropping by.

For a friend.....

Apologies for the photo I could not get outside for ages and when I did the light made everything look purple!

Good morning bloggers!
I have a card using some of the newly released dies from Tutti Designs!

My card today uses the gorgeous
and

So first I used a 6x6'' card and lined the inside with my chosen paper.

I centred the largest scalloped stitched circle die on the front of my card and cut it out.
I then cut the lovely dove die twice using heavy white card.

I mounted them one on top of the other for depth and stuck to centre of circle.
I then cut the Flower Friends die out twice in the pink paper and trimmed to leave me just the word FRIEND. I mounted them one on top of other for depth and added to my card.

I punched 3 little doves from an old punch I had lying around, added to card
and finished with a pink bow.
The detail in the Lovely Dove die is so striking that the card needs very little else.
