Got another page for my daughter's scrapbook squeezed in early Saturday morning. I had sleepy eyes the rest of the day lol. You can tell how bad they were when I thought the brads were silver not gold! Have changed them since lol. I made the page following the layout for March at Creative Craft World. But as I am addicted to my new My Memories Suite software I did a digital page first then made one for my scrapbook afterwards. I know sucker for punishment lol.
Papers - Colour Bok
Embellishments - machine stitching, flowers, brads, ribbon, paper charm, hearts from My Memories suite which I cut and then punched small holes round them.

Golf lover!

I have only had a wee play so far and I can safely say if I can use it anyone can.

For this layout I used everything that came with the My Memories Suite ie, background papers, staples, wavy line stitching, clips, frames and word art! I have to tell you I made this really quickly. I wanted to test myself so I could tell you if the My Memories Suite was easy to use or not. And YES IT IS! I am so into scrapbooking this year, I have mountains of photos on my computer begging to be framed;) Over at the My Memories site you can download loads of freebies too!!

Another scrap page

Well my daughter finally got round to sending me some photos of her room in Halls at Uni so I got to make the second page of your album;) The photos aren't that great, a bit on the dark side but she is a whiz on photo shop so I will replace them with better ones when she gets home in May. I followed the layout from Creative Craft World February Challenge. I used my sewing machine a lot and did a bit of ripping and tearing. Made a little note book page with some raffia threaded through. The album I bought for Searlait is an 11''x8'' one so not as much space to fill though for this particular sketch it might have worked better with a 12x12. But hey I am on a learning curve with this scrap booking.

Another resolution!!

I had promised my daughter last year that I would do her an album of her University experiences, well the ones we can talk about lol. But unfortunately I never got started so here I am today. Be gentle, this is the first page I have done in ages and am a bit out of kilter. I used the lovely scrapmap from Creative Craft World as my incentive. The photo is of Searlait on the day she was leaving home. The back kitchen was stuff to the gills with all the stuff she wanted to bring including lot of food to keep her going till she got her bearings. It was such a sad day and her little face (which was trying to be brave) says it all:(

Papers are from Laura Ashley, (sorry I went with the grey now) red paper from my stash, the sticky ribbons I have had for over a year or more. The lovely loopy flower is from Laurie:) matched perfectly. I punched some leaves out of newsprint and made some heart diecuts. Hopefully this is the first of many.
