Well I have finally got back into the swing of things and got something done for the Christmas card club. I have missed a few weeks, sorry to the ladies who set those lovely challenges:( I did get Clare's challenge done and yes it was a flippin challenge. Spent way too much time fathing about but finally came up with this little set!
Clare wanted us to create anything but A card, ie more than one card or a tag or a gift box or a scrapbook page (I did do a digital scrapbook page but thought it was a bit of a cop out).
Under the request of Clare I have posted my digital Christmas layout. I used pictures of my house decorations and various kits from My Memories Suite. If you fancy getting yourself this software you can use the code in my sidebar to get a discount off the price! I love this software. I have the Craft Artist software as well but can't get my head round it at all:(
So onto my card. I found a box full of Christmas card kits which I have never used and went to town on a set of those. I chopped and distressed the papers, added some gorgeous gingham ribbon from Crafty Ribbons and then found a set of 4 toppers in my stash which fitted perfectly. Easy peasy lol. They are small cards but unfortunately the bulk of the toppers is going to put the postage right up there! Might have to hand deliver these lol.
I would like to enter this into
Christmas Crafting! - use gingham (ribbon)
Sparkles Christmas - colour me happy (I like traditional colours)
Craftyhazelnut's Challenge - lots of layers
