So I am back safe and sound from my eldest son's wedding. We had an amazing time. So laid back, sunny skies and blistering heat. The venue was beautiful, out in the countryside and loads of green areas for the kids to play. It was all just perfect. Wales is such a lovely place, wish I could have stayed longer.

Here is the beautiful bride and groom

and here are me and my better half.

Now to get ready for our next wedding. Our niece is getting married in Trim Castle, so about an hour and a half drive from home, on Thursday. Then thankfully that's me and weddings done for the year lol.

Its has been a rotten week weather wise, warm but wet wet wet! I hope this is not an early warning sign for our  summer. I have been busy crafting away this week as its Holy communion season still but think 7th of June finishes them off.
We had a party for our daughter-in-laws birthday last week, we also had a cousin of my hubby's son died at the young age of 27 so its been a week of ups and downs.
Hope your week has been better and hopefully you have another nice one ahead of you. Its my birthday of Tuesday but think it will be just me and my Grandson lol (more cake for me lol)
Thanks for dropping by.

Graduation!

Have two graduation cards to make and this is the first of them. So glad I bought the two graduation stamps last year, they have come in so handy this year! The orange check papers are from Daisy Company, the graduation hat paper is a freebie from here. The star was stamped using SeeD stamps. Everything else from my stash. The image was coloured using promarkers.
Have been feeling a bit off colour these past two days, so sorry if I haven't visited recently. Still a bit below par but getting there.

1. Just Magnolia - followed the sketch

I've crossed over!

Had a graduation card to make and thought this cross-over challenge at Just Magnolia was just perfect for it. I used lovely baby papers from DCWV, they are all glittery too, just doesn't show up too well here. I coloured Tilda with promarkers in lilacs for a change. The lace edgings are all sticky lace. Added large flower, bow and brad and put a sentiment inside which I did on the computer.
We had a lovely day at Ikea yesterday, got a few bits a pieces and some gorgeous cake in the cafe! Did I say how much I like cake, this one was gorgeous made from those little daim bars, yummy!
1. Just Magnolia - make a crisscross card
2. Stamp Something - colours of your flag (green, white and yellow)
3. Fab n Funky - get in shape (hope this counts if it doesn't just wipe me off)
I'd like to welcome another new follower TRISHA, thanks so much for following me!

Cutie Sunday and DareYoutoDigi Stamp

This is my entry into CCS where I followed the lovely sketch and also to DU2DS where they want to see embossing.
Used papers from my stash, really old stuff, as I'm having a clean out and came across them! The image is Greeting farm, the embossing is from my cuttlebug congrats folder. The text is from Charmed Cards, and the books is from My Craft Studio which I played about with. I coloured the image with promarkers and added some sticky ribbon.

Card Patterns #21

Sorry me again lol. I will stop soon and have a good blogging session, just have a lot to get done again this week. This is another graduation one and I used the lovely sketch over at CardPatterns by Kris. Used digi papers again (totally addicted to these) from Sugar Plum, a little vintage image from HOTP artsy collage books, I have had for about 5 years! Matted with mirri board, borders cut with MS punch and rotary cutter. Letters are peeloffs. Ribbon and bow from stash.

Funky Fairies Challenge

When I first looked at the challenge over at FunkyFairies I thought I would do it as I just couldn't get it right in my head. But I downloaded some of their papers and decided to use it for this card. The paper is actually from the Christmas selection but I thought it could pass as a sprinkling of confetti instead of snow! As the card is personalised I had to add Antrim crest and Hurling sticks. The image is from Dustin Pike coloured with my pms. Near the end of my stack of comissions so hopefully can get to enjoy some sunshine soon lol.

Flowers where also a digi download which I shaped and layered and added a brad to.
Thanks for looking.

Passion for ProMarkers#4

At PassionforPromarkers this week the colour challenge is RED BERRY and ROYAL BLUE. I used a digi grad download from The Greeting Farm, papers from DCWV which I replaced the pink dots with red berry, red ribbon from my stash, edged the image with red berry and royal blue pm. Used my cuttlebug congrats folder for the white card. My colouring is still not great but I'm going to persevere lol.
