Not a great pic again, missed the early brightness while making this one. Used my new stamp again, she is a cutie, added lots of sparkle and as this lady is a big fan of butterflies I added lots of glossed and glittered ones. I have to go to my daughter's school and I will definitely be the sparkliest parent there lol. I followed the lovely sketch by Mina over at Just Magnolia for this one.

This is my card for the challenge at Just Magnolia which is distressing this month. The challenge over at One Stop crafts is - kids. Over at Tuesday Taggers they want NO PATTERN PAPERS so this fits in nicely. I used decoupage as my background and sat Tilda and Edwin on the punched border.

Bit of a story book card!

I get a commission from this girl a few times a year and each time she asks for an enormous amount of information to be put on the card! Can be quite daunting but at least it allowed me to involve a lot of challenges lol. This is for her sister who is going to be 50, she wanted her birth details, including the names of doc and nurse! she wanted to mention Mario Lanza who died the day she was born, she wanted something about Simon Cowell and Gone with the wind! A tall order or what. I forgot to photo the last page which showed a pic of the house at Tara from gone with the wind and a big party sign on it.

Papers are Brenda Pinnick, flowers where cut on my cricut and coloured with promarkers and copics. The challenges covered are;

Crafts4Eternity, Just Magnolia and Sunflowers and dragonflies

Good Sunny morning to everyone! Can't believe we have had 4 sunny days in a row! Over at C4E this week we have a sketch, no twists or turns just a nice little sketch by Michele. I used baking tilda for mine, coloured her with promarkers and copics, stamped and 3d the cupcakes and added the baking embellishment. I made a little border with a tiny apple stamp. I embossed pink strips with the Happy Birthday cuttlebug folder which covers the challenge over at Just magnolia which was embossing and I,m hoping the little 3d cupcakes covers the challenge at Sunflowers and Dragonflies. Am off now to walk the dog in this lovely morning sunshine. Have a nice day.

Just Magnolia, Danni's Dreams & Crafty Creations

Made this for my friend to give to her sister who loves to travel. Used this lovely Tilda and also stamped the suitcases but just used the small one twice. Coloured with copics, papers are from Patchwork Pals paper pack. Sentiment says Have wings will travel! This card is for three challenges;

Just Magnolia

Well you'll never guess who won the Magnolia challenge last week.....Yeh ME! So I definitely wanted to have another go this week lol or maybe I should do the lottery! Any way this is my card following the lovely sketch by Rach. I used Tilda with slate and popped her in front of some school books. I embossed the white card and edged with matching promarker. Coloured her with promarkers. The papers are from a free download I got from create and craft about 2 years ago and never used. I matted them onto white card and added so faux stitching. I added a flower rossette and the sentiment was stamped from SeeD Celebration Sentiments. This card is for a girl who just pass her A levels.

Just Magnolia and Pollycraft monday challenge

The theme over at Just Magnolia this week is FRIENDSHIP. I made this card for a guitar playing orthodontist! Used papers from DCWV, my own teeth background, not my teeth lol (thanks Hazel), letters from K & Co, quote my own, Edwin and guitar image is coloured with promarkers. Did some squiggles round the edge. Over at Pollycraft the challenge is to use your favourite things and I can definitely say at the minute this is my favourite stamp to use!

Just Magnolia #17

There was a lovely sketch over at Just Magnolia

by Martine and it was just perfect for my card. You have the option of making a tag or not following the sketch. I used the tag option as this is for a retiring headmaster from some nuns who teach in his school. They had given me a lot of information about Maurice and I had to find a way of incorporating it into the card. You can see this inside the tag. I stamped Edwin so as it looks like he is sitting on the front of the card but is actually sitting on the books on the tag. Papers from Paper Pizzazz, letters cut on cricut, Edwin coloured with promarkers.

Just Magnolia

Decided to have a go at the challenge over at Just Magnolia which is DISTRESSING this week. Not too sure about distressing other than inking and tearing edges and keeping colours subdued but this is what I have done. Used my lovely Edwin and guitar stamp for the first time, love him but gave him a mouth to cheer him up a bit. Inked a little scene around him and added a few stickers to make it look like a camping scene. The card is a thank you card for some camping gear. The papers are from DCWV, perfect for a camping card. Used my new fiskars border punch which I got last night, love it already.

Got time to finally use some of my Tilda Stamps! Used digi papers and frames, threaded ribbon round one of the frames, added gingham paper and spotty paper from Daisy and Dandelion. Coloured her with copics and pms and wound ribbon round the bottom of the frame as well. Added flowers from my stash. This is my card for this week's Just magnolia challenge.
