Christmas Pocket

The challenge over at ABC is H for HIDDEN. My little tag is hidden in the pocket I created behind the main picture. This card is for a man whose birthday falls on Christmas day so the card had to cover both occasions. The challenge at Crafty Creations is SNOW, so this snowy scene suits that perfectly. Over at Roses on Paper their challenge is Christmas. And over at Charisma Cardz they want Merry and Bright, and GLITTER ME SILLY is the challenge at Cute Card Thurday.

White Christmas no. 11

Have seen so many white Christmas cards this week from so many talented ladies I just thought I would have a go too. I used an embossed card, added embossed panel and snowflakes. Then the sweet little image to finish it. Had fun playing with my cricut with this one and found things I didn't know I had lol.

4 in 1 challenges!

This is for four challenges tonight, had come across this card searching through my stash this evening and thought it fitted perfectly with the challenge over at Totally Gorjuss where they want to see a shaped card. At charisma cardz they want Daisies so I made my own following a tutorial I found here. At Digital Tuesday they want to see things with wings. My digital element would be my daisies, which was a digital template.

And the last challenge is Creatilicious where they want you to use scrap dp, cardstock and handmade flowers. The image is of course Gorjuss girls. Added ribbon, bows and strip of fancy paper. The daisies are made of copy paper and I have coloured the centres and added lots of glitter.

Crafters Companion, Charisma Cardz and CRAFT Challenge

This is an A4 card again made following the lovely sketch at Its A Crafters Companion which I was lucky enough to win last week! Over at CRAFT Challenge they have a recipe 1RIBBON, 2BUTTONS and 3PAPERS, and at Charisma Cardz they are all very DISTRESSED! For my card I used:

The mice front lifts up to show a sentiment.

Die Cut Dreams and Charisma Cardz

Bit of a different one! No stamping lol. Made the background papers using our County logo, photos are of the Armagh Minors who won at the weekend, ALL-IRELAND CHAMPS! Added some foiled wishes and cut the name on my cricut. This is for two challenges:

Allsorts Challenge, Charisma Cardz, and Cute Card Thursday

Followed the sketch at Allsorts this week which also asks for 2 colour of your choice. At Cute Card Thursday they want to see the colours STRAWBERRY and MINT JULEP and at Charisma Cardz they want Patchwork.
I used papers from the Patchwork Pals pad, image from Pink Gem, flowers are a mix of punched and ready bought, with leaves from cricut and brads from stash.

Friday Sketchers and Charisma Cardz

Made this Ruby Anniversary card using papers from creative cardmaking issue 3, image is Pollycraft, coloured with copics. I used swirl stamp from Dulcie Jackson, corner stamp from Anna Griffin, flowers from stash, hearts from heart punch and congrats stamp from my SeeD stamp set. I followed the sketch over at Friday Sketchers and the theme at Charisma Cardz is SWIRLS, CURLS and added extra HEARTS.

Charisma Cardz and Simon Says Challenge

This was my DT September Scraplift page for C4E and I thought it would be perfect to enter into the challenge at Charisma Cardz as their challenge is called SCRAP IT. I used digi papers and flowers, cut out a little frame and popped my daughters pic in her senior school uniform. All journaling is done by hand, like you can't tell, lol. Great to see a challenge incorporating some scrapbooking. The challenge over at Simon Says is BACK TO SCHOOL so I'm entering this in there too.

Christmas card #5

Made this card with 4 challenges in mind. I used DCWV papers, a very old stamp of Father christmas, from PSX. Coloured with pms, the swirl stamps are from Creative Expressions christmas set. Added flower, gold star and candy cane from stash.
The challenges are
1. Winter Wonderland where you have to have a Santa
2. CharismaCardz where the theme is Tag it.
3.CuteCardThursday want you to use eyelets.
4.Pollycraft Monday Challenge where I followed their sketch.

Alter it!

Had this little tin waiting to be altered for about 3 years now! As the challenge over at Charisma Cardz is to alter something it gave me the push I needed to get on with it. The tin will be used to hold ATC's which I have made specifically as a memory to my Mum who passed away 3 years ago so I wanted to to be special. I covered the tin in Anna Griffin Decoupage finish, peeled the 2 ply off a 3ply rosebud tissue and smoothed this over the top and round the sides and then allowed to dry. I added another layer of the decoupage finish, dried it again and then sanded and buffed it. The image is from the fairy's digi download from Charmed cards which I coloured with promarkers, cut out and glittered the wings with sparkle dust. I put a sticky ribbon across the lid where her arms would sit, added a sticker sentiment and stuck the image to the tin. I added a little bow as my Mum always made my bows for me for crafting. I'm pretty pleased with the finished result.

Buttons and Layers

Made this with two challenges in mind
1st the challenge over at CRAFT challenge wants to see decoupage so I used a 3d sheet from a teddy bear kit from C & C.
2nd the challenge over at Charisma Cardz wants you to use buttons. Now anyone who knows me knows I have a real fear of buttons, I know you can laugh, but it is true and yet I have a drawer full in all shapes and sizes. I like buttons that do not have any holes in them! But I pushed myself and used for heart shape buttons and put some raffia through them. Just glad to be finished this card lol. Thanks for looking.

Pretty Baby!

Seem to be having a bit of a run on baby cards! so glad I have these lovely stamps from Pink Gem designs. This card is for three challenges:
