Copic Creations and CRAFT Challenge

The challenge over at Copic Creations is to use shades of gold. I have only one shade of copic - Y17 called golden yellow so that's what I used. This is one of my new stamps I got at the Kings Hall yesterday. I added some red and grey highlights. The edge is stained with distress inks and glitter added for sparkle. Made a gold tag top, punched a rivet and added a ribbon. The back is covered in red so I can added the recipients name. The corners where rounded using fancy cut scissors. Have to say it looks much sparklier in real life, had to put through scanner as its completely dark and my batteries are too low to work flash.

The challenge over at CRAFT has a recipe this week : 1 tag, 1sentiment and 1 ribbon. Think this fits the bill nicely.

The Sugar Bowl, Basic Grey and Copic Creations

This card is made following the sketch and button theme over at The Sugar Bowl, and following the colour scheme over at Basic Grey which is PINK, BROWN AND YELLOW. Now you probably all know I do not like buttons, but the flowers I ordered from qvc arrived yesterday and low and behold 3 packs contain flowers with buttons. But at least I didn't have to actually handle them! The papers are all from Basic Grey Sultry pack, which is gorgeous! The image is Simon and Lola, flowers prima, ribbon from stash. I coloured the image using copics and I am entering this into the Copic Creations challenge which is open choice this week.
