Naughty or nice??

Our challenge this month at Scrap the Boys card challenge is

I pulled out my House-Mouse stamps for this card!
The papers are from Nitwits
and the image was stamped in memento and coloured
using Stampin' Blends.
I added some string and some printed ornaments to the top
as I don't like to add ribbon to male cards.

Pop over to the blog and check out the inspiration!

For my card I went with a snowy scene using stamps from
Patchwork Pals
After stamping up the scene I coloured it using promarkers and
finished with a layer of wink of stella over every snowy part!
Very hard to see in this photo but it really does sparkle.
The sentiment stamp is from Molly Blooms.

Joy to the World

There is nothing like beautiful scripted words to make a Christmas card
and that's exactly what you get with this gorgeous die

I also used another MUST HAVE die

to make my card today.

I started off by cutting the Joy to the World die twice, once in deep pink card and once
in glitter card.

Having prepared my base card I adhered the pink die cut using  2 way glue.

I then applied the silver die cut, just off setting to get a shadowed effect.

I cut out loads of snow flurries using the same silver glitter card
and added to my card, finishing them off with a deep pink pearl.

I thought it would be nice to have these little mice singing below the wording,
a little mini  choir bringing Joy to the World!

I hope you enjoyed my project today.

The dies I have used are:

Papers are from DCWV
Stamp - Penny Black Holly Day Critters
Medium - promarkers

Christmas Wreath

Today, for my Tutti Designs project,
I have started my Christmas card collection using the beautiful

I wanted to make an acetate front showing the sentiment inside.
So I started by cutting the Wreath using some sticky back coloured paper.

I cut the wreath in green

Peeled off the back and adhered to my acetate.

I cut some strips using red card, to fit the size of my acetate.

I used the acetate as a template and cut out a square front the front of my base card.

I stuck the wreath to the front of acetate and glued 4 strips to cover join.
I also added 4 strips of red to the inside to cover it up.

Giving a framed effect to my card.

I cut the wreath out again in red and cut the larger of the berries
and stuck on top of my green wreath.

I used my stamping platform so I could place the sentiment
perfectly inside the wreath.

I finished the card by adding pearls to each corner.

I hope you like my project today.
Unfortunately the Wreath die is out of stock but you can be added
to the waiting list and it definitely is worth waiting for!!

I have used:
real red ink pad and pearls to decorate

Christmas in March!

Is it ever too early to start on Christmas cards?
The answer is NO when you have this gorgeous die in your hands!!
I am using

I cut the wreath out twice using plain white card.

I added dimensions to back side of one wreath and
with scissors I clipped bits away to release the holly so I could curl it up for a 3d effect.

I layered them together on the dimensionals.

Next I cut a piece of nice red card and folded into a 5x5" card.
I ran the front of the card through a holly embossing folder.

I mounted the Holiday Wreath onto card and added a gingham bow and some pearls.
I printed off a little robin, coloured with promarkers and stuck him with dimensionals to the centre
of the Holiday Wreath.

I finished the card by adding a sentiment and some red gems to the wreath.

For my card I used

Red card
Image - Crafters Companion
Holly Embossing Folder from Tattered Lace
Embellishments - pearls, gingham ribbon, sentiment, gems
Medium - promarkers
