Christmas Pocket

The challenge over at ABC is H for HIDDEN. My little tag is hidden in the pocket I created behind the main picture. This card is for a man whose birthday falls on Christmas day so the card had to cover both occasions. The challenge at Crafty Creations is SNOW, so this snowy scene suits that perfectly. Over at Roses on Paper their challenge is Christmas. And over at Charisma Cardz they want Merry and Bright, and GLITTER ME SILLY is the challenge at Cute Card Thurday.

Crafts4Eternity...worth the wait!

Well we finally made it and Michele has posted last weeks winner here.
This week we have another great sketch and recipe for you to follow. Here is the sketch:

And the recipe this week is ;1. USE SKETCH 2. USE FELT 3. INCLUDE A CAT/CATS.
After a hard search I eventually found some black felt and used it to make the spider hanging from the web. It is a digi stamp which I printed twice and used the second one as a template. I filled the face with my white pen. The image is aubergine and pumpkin which was a freebie at DoCrafts last week along with the background papers. Orange card is from my stash and so are the Halloween pumpkin and stars. The prize this week is the brand new set of Halloween Cupcakes, no not the edible ones...the digi ones. Pink Gem First Christmas

Janet over at Pink Gem has a challenge running and the prize is 6 Pink Gem STAMPS! I just couldn't resist having a go and especially as I just got this one and was dying to ink it up!

I used papers from K & Co, ribbon and white card from my stash, circle is from Die Cut Dreams which I stamped the image onto and inked the edges. I used my copics and promarkers and added some glimmer dust. The snowflake and stars are cut from my cricut. I added some red dots to the snowflake embossed white card.

This is also my entry to the Simon Says Challenge where the colours are red and green and I followed the sketch over at CRAFT Challenge. Over at Cute Card Thursday the challenge is celebrating a First, so this fits well with that me thinks.

Cute Card Thursday

At Cute Card Thursday they want to see HIDDEN TREASURE. I made this card with a little folder over booklet attached with ribbon. Its actually an A4 size card, the images are a mixture of Pennyblack, charmed cards and toot can't remember the last one. They where coloured using pms and I used a white gel pen for the writing. Papers are from DCWV, letters all cut on my cricut. Ran numbers through cuttlebug.

Allsorts Challenge, Charisma Cardz, and Cute Card Thursday

Followed the sketch at Allsorts this week which also asks for 2 colour of your choice. At Cute Card Thursday they want to see the colours STRAWBERRY and MINT JULEP and at Charisma Cardz they want Patchwork.
I used papers from the Patchwork Pals pad, image from Pink Gem, flowers are a mix of punched and ready bought, with leaves from cricut and brads from stash.

Priscillastyles, Cute Card Thursday and KL Stampin & Scrapin

Followed the excellent sketch over at Midnight Madness for this card. Loved the folded in corners. Over at Cute Card Thursday they want a BACK TO SCHOOL theme. This card is for my nephew who has just got his place in University so its sort of back to school! Over at KL Stampin & Scrapin they want to see you use a piece of NOTEPAPER on your card. I scanned in a jotter page and positioned my Charmed Cards Mikey image on top of it. I didn't want to write anything on the page because I want to put a verse inside about a new page in the next chapter of his life, iykwim! The papers are from Tinker & Co, congratulations text is from my SeeD's sentiments set.

Inspirational Card Sketches, Cute Card Thursday and Penny Black Challenge

Followed the sketch over at ICS this week. I used a pennyblack image along with some stitching for the Penny Black Challenge blog. The papers are from Daisy Company, added some ribbon and punched border. The quote is computer generated and lined with a copic marker. The challenge at Cute Card Thursday this week is NEW BEGINNINGS so I'm entering this in that challenge too.

Sketch Saturday and Cute Card Thursday

This is my entry to two challenges. 1st one is Sketch Saturday where I followed the sketch. The 2nd one is Cute Card Thursday where the theme is LET'S GET FRUITY! I used lovely fruity papers from DCWV, the image is from Charmed Cards, isn't he really funny! I love him. As this card is for a man who sells fruit and has a passion for tennis I'm hoping he really likes it. I added some doodles to the cut out leaves and used a freebie stamp for the sentiment. The image was coloured with pms.

Christmas card #5

Made this card with 4 challenges in mind. I used DCWV papers, a very old stamp of Father christmas, from PSX. Coloured with pms, the swirl stamps are from Creative Expressions christmas set. Added flower, gold star and candy cane from stash.

Cute Card Thursday Challenge 60

This week at CCT the theme is LETTERS AND NUMBERS. This fitted in well with a card I made this morning for a Tin Whistle Teacher's 70th Birthday.
Papers from my Tin Whistle book, chalked.
Added tile of tin whistles. Numbers cut on cricut Plantin Schoolbook cart along with the letters.
Put them through swirl and dotty folders. Added scanned pics of whistle books and two tin whistle pics.
