The Sugar Bowl

Couldn't resist the gorgeous sketch over at the Sugar Bowl this week. The optional extra is to add a bit of lace. This is the first time I have inked this stamp and I have had her for about a month! Did a bit of masking so I could add a little background scene. So here is another card for my stash, Christmas card no 7, I know miserable, but I'm getting there lol.

The Sugar Bowl

Followed the lovely sketch and colour challenge at the Sugar Bowl Challenge blog. Used my lovely new Sugar Nellie HAPPILY EVER AFTER stamp. Have been dying to use this one. This card is for a couple who where recently married in Cypress. Apparently they walked out on the pier where the ceremony was held so I tried to give the impression of a pier on the card. The papers are all from basic grey sultry collection. Added a few flowers, some punched hearts and diecut leaves. The image was coloured using copics and promarkers. I cut through one of the brown flowers and tucked the embossed circle under it. Sentiment is from SeeD's sentiment collection.

The Sugar Bowl, Basic Grey and Copic Creations

This card is made following the sketch and button theme over at The Sugar Bowl, and following the colour scheme over at Basic Grey which is PINK, BROWN AND YELLOW. Now you probably all know I do not like buttons, but the flowers I ordered from qvc arrived yesterday and low and behold 3 packs contain flowers with buttons. But at least I didn't have to actually handle them! The papers are all from Basic Grey Sultry pack, which is gorgeous! The image is Simon and Lola, flowers prima, ribbon from stash. I coloured the image using copics and I am entering this into the Copic Creations challenge which is open choice this week.

The Sugar Bowl

This is my card for the SugarBowl challenge. I used papers from patchwork pals pad, sticky ribbons, clutter card dressing table coloured with pms, and a gorjuss girl image also coloured with pms. Added a fabric greeting and did her name in beads. Added a green check bow to finish it off.
