Christmas card! at last...

Finally making a start on Christmas again although this one is a commission! I made another easel card, they just look so good, you will be seeing a lot of these. I used papers from DCWV, snowflake embossing folder, stamp is the one I won last week at Crafters Companion, coloured with promarkers. Added some ribbon (which does not look like it matches in this photo but it does in real light!) and snowflakes I bought in Matalan! This is for four challenges:

I Love Promarkers and Die Cut Dreams

Set myself a right challenge here restricting myself to colouring with just brown and orange promarkers! I followed the sketch over at I love Promarkers and followed Susie's challenge of Chocolate Orange over at Die Cut Dreams. This card is for a friends son who is just heading off to University to study Actuarial Studies (finance, insurance, pensions, economics etc) yes I had to ask too lol. Not sure where the papers are from, got them as a kit through QVC many years ago. The image is Mikey from charmed cards. I made up a little collage of financial images for the small background square. Added a metal star, large eyelet brad and put Q inside for Queens University. Added some faux stitching.

Before I get on to my card, just wanted to let you know just how brilliant my daughter is! She sat her O Levels this year and is now the proud owner of A*, A, A, A, A, B, B, B, and C. Way to go Searlait! xo

Made this one following the sketch at I love ProMarkers. The image is popcorn bear, coloured with promarkers, papers are from my stash. Added text and present stickers from Card Company, used embossing folder with numbers. Glittered the number 1 and added a yellow ribbon. This card also covers Stamp Something challenge which is ANIMALS and Stampin' For The Weekend which is ANYTHING BABY GOES!

I Love Promarkers #1

Made this card for the first challenge over at ILovePromarkers. They have a great sketch to follow and you can use any colour promarkers you like and any image! Used my whiff of joy carriage, circle is from my swirls cuttlebug folder, flowers are from my stash along with the ribbon. Sentiment is whiff of joy as well. All matted on king foil in green. This couple sent out invitations all made on brown recycled paper, not pretty to look at but it was their bit for the planet! So I kept the card pretty simple.
Colours I used:
Apple, meadow green, pine, rose pink, ivory, blush, vanilla, pastel yellow and pastel beige.
