crafts4eternity#51

Time for a challenge over at Crafts4Eternity again! This week Michele has given us a lovely sketch to work with, no strings no colour ways just the sketch. For my card I used male sporty papers, but no sure where I got them doh! The image is from Jolly Nation No Cutting Required set, perfect when you are in a hurry. I printed out the Liverpool logo onto the circle as this little boys is a complete fan (wonder why?lol) I simply layered up each of the papers, added the 3d image and sentiments. Each layer was inked to tie it in with the red of Liverpool. If you get time pop over and have a look at the other DT cards, they are simply gorgeous! Have a nice day.

Corrosive Challenge blog, spoonful of sugar and Our creative corner

Made this card following the sketch over at The Corrosive Challenge blog. It also fits in with the challenge at Spoonful of Sugar which is FALL and Our creative Corner which is also FALL. I used papers from Paper Pizazz Masculine scrapapers. Image is from PaperNation, or Jolly Nation as its now known. The background is one I have had for ages, not sure where I got it. I added some punched leaves, and cut the corner leaves from the same papers.

Moving Along with the Times

Used the sketch over at Moving Along with the Times as I found the shape to be just what I needed for this particular card. Its for an sprightly 80 year old man who loves to travel and has been on a cruise to Alaska and a trip to Poland in the last two months! Used papers from K & Co, tag stickers and overlays from stash, Jolly Nation travelling man and some metal dragonflies. I added some rub on words from qvc, the globe is from google.

Anyone for Tennis!

Had a commission for a Birthday card for a lady in her 70's who is very sporty and especially likes tennis. I used the Jolly Nation bowling lady and gave her a tennis racket instead. Love these 3d sheets they are so handy. Made a net of sorts and added some friendship quotes from DCWV. The papers are from K & Co and the flowers are from my stash, another little find I had forgotten lol.

Creative Inspirations Challenge 12

Over at Creative Inspirations they have a challenge with a twist. Maxine has provided a lovely sketch but you also have to gear your card towards a Male! This is for my son from his Granny and Granda. He just loves cards... Used Mikey download but continued the car on over to the edge. coloured with pms and copics. The papers are a digi download from Sugarplum which I re sized and inked the edges. Added a Jolly Nation stamped driving gloves and an old key, and a little wooden star. The brads are from a male kit I got ages ago.

Craft House Press

This is one of my cards as DT member for Jolly Nation. I used one of their amazing half price kit offers. This kit has 14 different sheets of A4 background papers, 8 different sheets of a5 3-D decoupage, 4 easy 3-D cards with envelops all for £9.99. Excellent value! I find JN designs handy to have for all occasions. I used one of the back sheets and one of the little boy images. Added some mirri card and some sticky ribbon, as simple as that. Allsorts #5

I did this card and few days ago for this challenge and completely forgot to post it up till I read a post from Brenda! So probably a bit late but no matter. I used JN new mother decoupage sheet, papers from stash, sticky ribbon from a mag. The challenge this week at Allsorts was for TRIANGLES. So this is mine. Off to watch my Daughter be a ROCK STAR for the evening at a concert in town. She has written her own lyrics and arrangement and is singing it in front of a hall full of people!!! Wish her luck.
