Money bags!

Have you been in our top 5?

As we were getting our new door in today I had a little time to spend in the craft room and decided to get some Christmas money bags ready.
I love making these. They are so well suited to my Penny Black stamps which are a bit small for card making.
I have used my promarkers to colour them in but if you are going to try these make sure and put a piece of card inside in case the colour goes through to the back.

I am entering these into

So that's me started with Christmas, hopefully I'll get a few cards made this week.

Day 23

Today we are sponsored by

Prize -

I made a little container to hold some candy canes. The image is from The Paper Shelter, coloured with promarkers. The paper and card is from DCWV and I used gorgeous embossed red velvet ribbon and carry on Christmas ribbon, both available HERE.
The little verse reads like this

It's just a little Christmas treat,
but also did you know,
it represents our Saviour born so long ago.
The shape is like a J to symbolise His name,
The white is for His life, holy without blame.
And the stripe of red is for His blood,
So pure and freely given
That we might spend eternity
with our Lord in heaven.

We are a small company bringing you a selection of Clear Polymer Stamps, Digital Images, Digital Papers and exclusive Rubber Stamps with a few essential supplies.

PRIZE 3 DIGI IMAGES

Every year I buy my married son and his lovely wife Trish a new ornament for their tree. This year I decided to make a box for the bauble.

I used grey card stock for the box along with some dotty acetate.  The image is called Bauble and Candies available from Crafty Sentiments designs. She is coloured with promarkers. I added faux stitching. The ribbon I used this time is called Jingle Bell ribbon which you can get HERE.
I added a snowflake brad to the bow. I put a band of red sentiment ribbon around the lid. You can find it HERE in the vintage Christmas section. I used a CC board for the folds and had to add acetate as it was working out a bit small in depth. It turned out quite nice as you can now see the bauble through the acetate...a happy accident lol.
