Retirement Card

I had a retirement card to make recently

and thought the Paper Shelter Business Man

digi stamp would suit perfectly.

I have coloured him with promarkers

and the papers are from Nitwits.

Crafts4Eternity #50

Over at Crafts4Eternity the challenge is of course a lovely sketch but the twist this week is Orange and Brown! Excellent choice of colours for this time of the year. I used papers from Pizazz, image from here, stamped sentiments as background paper from pixie stamps and coloured image with promarkers and copics. The lettering is cut from my Cricut beyond birthdays and schoolbook. Don't forget to pop over and check out the other DT members cards and of course have a little play yourself. Lovely sunny day here so might be AWOL for a wee while lol.

Just Magnolia #17

There was a lovely sketch over at Just Magnolia

by Martine and it was just perfect for my card. You have the option of making a tag or not following the sketch. I used the tag option as this is for a retiring headmaster from some nuns who teach in his school. They had given me a lot of information about Maurice and I had to find a way of incorporating it into the card. You can see this inside the tag. I stamped Edwin so as it looks like he is sitting on the front of the card but is actually sitting on the books on the tag. Papers from Paper Pizzazz, letters cut on cricut, Edwin coloured with promarkers.
