Deck the halls!

Sorry about the photo, the acetate I used just kept reflecting the light right back at the camera! Took a little close up which was a bit better. This is for two little brothers, 10 and 4 from their Grandmother. It fits into 6 challenges, don't normally like to go above 4 challenges per card but the challenges are all so easy to combine, it happens now and then.

Another Daisy May!

Wanted to make something a wee bit different so made this little handbag for a friends daughter who is going to be 8.Just used a basic a5 card, cut slanted sides and creased a few folds at the bottom so it will stand up. Used gg board to make the handles and closing diamond. I made a little envelope with a bit of glitter inside and a little card for her to write a birthday wish on. This is for four challenges:

1. Allsorts - something for a child

2. Digital Tuesday - white, purple and gold or silver

3. Crafty Creations - some metal, or metallic

4. Creative Inspirations - a pocket

A little bit of Christmas!

This Christmas card fits into three challenges.

1. Allsorts - Bling/Sparkle

2.Cupcake Craft Challenge - Snow Much Fun!

3. Digital Ink Company - Quotes

I used a laser cut card front, added the Christmas decoupage leaving the top open and attaching with 3d foam to leave space for a little tag, then added the little girl image from Inger. Coloured using promarkers. Added lots of glitter. It put the whole lot onto fancy mirri board card. The tag has two quotes on it plus an image from Summer Driggs winter collection. The quote on the tag is from Creative Expressions stamp set and is a Shakespeare quote. finished it off with ribbons.

Christmas card! at last...

Finally making a start on Christmas again although this one is a commission! I made another easel card, they just look so good, you will be seeing a lot of these. I used papers from DCWV, snowflake embossing folder, stamp is the one I won last week at Crafters Companion, coloured with promarkers. Added some ribbon (which does not look like it matches in this photo but it does in real light!) and snowflakes I bought in Matalan! This is for four challenges:

Carol's Sketch Fun, Digi Tuesday, Creative Inspirations and Allsorts

While rummaging through my paper stash I found this lovely sheet of autumn leaves. Have no idea whose paper it is no, no markings on it I'm afraid but I love it. I followed carol's Sketch for this card, used some lovely embossed gold, green ribbon, frame and background are from Daisy Company, Image is Jolly Nation and the little dog digi my daughter drew for me following a photo from google as I needed a Lake land Terrier. I coloured him with promarkers. Sentiment is from qvc which I inked.

Allsorts Challenge, Charisma Cardz, and Cute Card Thursday

Followed the sketch at Allsorts this week which also asks for 2 colour of your choice. At Cute Card Thursday they want to see the colours STRAWBERRY and MINT JULEP and at Charisma Cardz they want Patchwork.
I used papers from the Patchwork Pals pad, image from Pink Gem, flowers are a mix of punched and ready bought, with leaves from cricut and brads from stash.

Allsorts and Our Creative Corner

Over at Allsorts they are asking for a MALE card and at Our Creative Corner they want to see STARS AND STRIPES. Used an image from Charmed Cards, stripe paper from FSS, star paper from my stash. Text from SeeD stamps.

Allsorts, ABC Challenge, Saturday Challenge

As the challenge over at Allsorts was to use NO RUBBER! I decided to use a bit of decoupage and a digi image. This is a kit card from C & C so I wanted to do a bit of work with it and added the little digi fairy and sentiment from Charmed Cards Download. She is coloured with promarkers and copics. The Name is stickers matted on white card. Flowers are from my stash and again added the age using stickers. The challenge over at ABC is CIRCLES, so my cake is matted on a circle. The Saturday Challenge is for FLIGHTS OF FANCY and the fairy covers that. This is a big A4 size card and as its still raining here it didn' t come up too bright.

Allsorts Challenge blog and C.R.A.F.T. Challenge blog

Made this for a 15th birthday of a girl who loves to play gaelic and likes music! I followed the great sketch by Jules over at Allsorts challenge blog. I used digi papers, which I ripped, and the lovely Teen image from Mo. I coloured her with promarkers, added some Co. Armagh footballs, a few punched music shapes and two coloured corners. As this is such a summery image I thought I would enter it into the challenge over at CRAFT as their theme this week is SUMMER.

Allsorts Challenge blog #7

The challenge over at Allsorts this week wants to see ACETATE somewhere on your card. I used a JS image and layered it with preprinted acetate attached with gold brads. Papers are from complete cardmaking mag, King Foils and mirri card. This is for a golden wedding anniversary so I thought the image would be appropriate.

Allsorts Challenge blog #6

The challenge over at Allsorts this week has a theme set by the lovely Brenda of WINGS. I used my new Whiff of Joy Stamps for this wedding card and my wings is the dove. Really wanted to do a different one for this challenge but time is running away with me. If I get a chance I'll have another go. Coloured the images with copics and pms, added an arch from Daisy Company, papers I think are from Funky Fairies. Fibres from stash.

Allsorts #5

I did this card and few days ago for this challenge and completely forgot to post it up till I read a post from Brenda! So probably a bit late but no matter. I used JN new mother decoupage sheet, papers from stash, sticky ribbon from a mag. The challenge this week at Allsorts was for TRIANGLES. So this is mine. Off to watch my Daughter be a ROCK STAR for the evening at a concert in town. She has written her own lyrics and arrangement and is singing it in front of a hall full of people!!! Wish her luck.
