Its time for another challenge over at By The Cute and Girly and there are a lovely selection of prizes up for grabs again this month. The winners of last months will be announced later. The theme this month is WINTER WONDERLAND. Excellent choice for a theme in November don't you think! This is the first of my makes and this month I have done a lot of recycling. From becoming a DT member on this challenge I have completely changed my way of looking at things and nothing gets tossed in the bin now! This little box came with a piece of computer hardware and after cutting it down to size slightly it is now an ATC box where I keep little atc's I have made with little memories of my Mum who passed away 4 years ago.
The papers are from K & Co, the lace round the top and bottom is sticky lace from Papercraft 4 You. The paper flower was made using a freebie from The Crafters Kitchen blog, I added a little pearl heart from my stash and the gold Letter M for Mum is from the October Kit from C4E. I opened the box out, resized it, then used it as a template to cut my paper. Stuck the paper on, resealed the box and added the lace, heart and letters. printed the flower out on satin paper, cut and shaped and assembled then added to box. Was pretty pleased with the finished product as it was cost very little to make and will be well used.
