Finally got time to make my friend a card for her new son Milo. I got my inspiration from the sketch over at MAWTTs where Nicki had used pleated ribbon and I loved the effect. I didn't want to copy her lovely card so I stitched the ribbon and pulled the thread to cause it to ruffle and stuck it down with pva glue. I just love the effect, its really soft and fluffy looking, perfect for a baby card. The papers are from patchwork Pals pad again, the image is Pink Gem, coloured with promarkers and copics. I added some glitter, stars, punched flowers and leaves and cut the title and name using my cricut zooballoo cart. I am entering this in the following challenges:
