Crafts4Eternity recipe #24

Oh what a beautiful morning, la la la la la la la.....Yes its definitely nice enough to sing this morning, the sun is shining, the house is quiet (all in bed) so I'm enjoying a few moments peace. The challenge over at C4E this week is a lovely sketch and you must also add some string or wool and use the colours yellow and green. I dug out some old papers for this one, they look a bit muted in the pic and are definitely sunnier in real life. The image is PB coloured with copics. I added some stitching round the edges in a pale green thread, my fibre is yellow wool and I've added a lovely flower in green and yellow to finish it off. Hope you get the chance to pop over and see our guest Designer Crafty Chris. Her card is just gorgeous! We have lots of new DT members this week and their work is just stunning, they are definitely keeping me on my toes! The prize this week is a lovely set of sentiment spots and if you want to buy them they are available here
along with lots of other lovely digis .
I am entering this into these challenges;
1. Daring Cardmakers - use daffodils or sunny yellow flowers
2. FussynFancy - green
3. Stampin Sisters in Christ - peaceful image or words
4. Stamp Something - cream and green
5. Pennyblack - spring colours
Happy Mother's Day to all you mother's out there.

You are so right I could sing myself with all this lovely weather we are getting, but if I sing it will only rain, so I leave it out,
Gorgeous card, fantastic image just to suit the weather, love the stitching.

Hi Pinky,
Love this image, it's so chilled. Your muted colour pallette looks gorgeous. I laughed when you said I was able to say what I mean on my blog. If you only knew how long it takes me to write these things up. It all eats in to my beloved crafting time!
Big Hugs,
Andie xx

I think the papers look very nice and they match so well. The twine was quite a nice touch, looks good in the place you chose to add it to the card. Thanks for participating in the SSIC this week!
