SIR STAMPALOT CHALLENGE

The first challenge over at SirStampalot Challenge blog has started!

The day we have all been eagerly awaiting has finally arrived, it's seemed forever coming and we really have all been bursting at the seams for the chance to share all our excitement with you.
Over the coming months we have some fantastic themes lined up for you, along with some fabulous prizes from Sir Stampalot. Our challenges will each run for a month and all the information on the sidebar will help you familiarise yourself with how the challenge works.

Our first theme is: "Fantasy"

It is entirely up to you what you create and how you interpret the theme and we are so looking forward to visiting you all and seeing your wonderful creations.

How unbelievable is that and if the opportunity to win that doesn't get your creative juices flowing, then I don't know what will. And of course we will also be selecting our Top 3 who will be able to display our special logo.

I decided to have a go at one of those tent cards. The papers are from an old selection I have had for years, perfect for that fantasy feel. The stamp I used is from Scottish Borders and is called Una Queen of the Fairies. I punched leaves with two different punches, all available at Sir Stampalot. I bought some lilac netting and stapled it to the card and covered the staples with the punched leaves. I stamped the image using distress inks and added some more colours here and there. I finished it off with a rosebud and a lilac ribbon. Hope you like it. Now you have a whole month to have some fantasy fun and what a result if you are our winner! Good luck and have fun.
