It's my big brother's birthday on the 5th November and he is an accountant by day and a drummer by night but as I always make him a card with a drummer on it I thought I would be a little bit different this year. He is a big beatles fan so decided to go with that. The backing paper is a free wallpaper scene, the beatles picture is from a Music kit from Kanban which I cropped a bit and reframed. I cut lots of hearts using my nesties and punches. Quick and easy and away in the post.Image - kanban

Thanks for your comments on my blog. Fake brayering involves squishing a Big n Juicy onto a craft mat so you transfer the stripes of colour, spraying with a water mister till the ink beads, then laying good cardstock or watercolour paper on top to soak up the stripes. A wet paintbrush will blend the stripes on your card. Hope that makes sense!
