A new chapter!

I got blood results back yesterday which told me I have inflamation of my liver and gallstones:( I am now nervously awaiting a scan to see what the treatment will be. I have been suffering terrible bouts of pain where I have actually passed out and had stupidly been blaming it on my IBS but of course its totally unrelated. This is a relief of course as I couldn't see how I was going to be able to stick this pain much longer. I am on a low fat diet and pain killers at the minute. No chocolate for me:(. But hopefully it will all be sorted soon. So onto my card!
Its for a lady's friend who is starting a new teaching job in England. I got this lovely image at Karber Images, she is so lovely and very useful:)

Papers - Colorboc, pink card from stash
Embellishments - flowers, button, leaves, card candy, glitter, ribbon and stitching
Sentiment - Stamping all day
Medium - promarkers

I would like to enter this into
Simon Says challenge - followed their lovely sketch
Stampin' Sisters in Christ - encouragement or congratulations
Karber Weekly Challenge - sparkle (on the scarf and card candy)
Glitterbabe's challenge - buttons and glitter (I have glittered the card candy and her scarf)

Oh, Pinky I'm so sorry! I think I couldn't live without chocolate - lol! I'm happy to see you keep on making special cards like this one! Unfortunately I'm no more a beginner as a teacher, I'd really have appreciated a card like this! Hugs. Miria
p.s. What is IBS?

Pinky, what a fab card. Sorry to hear your health news. Hopefully you won't have to wait long for your ultrasound scan. If it's an inflammed gallbladder and gallstones I certainly remember only too well the pain of a bout of cholecystitis is. I suffered when I was pregnant with my eldest son but they said it was the baby sitting near the spine and I then had to wait for six months after he was born to get a scan as I had to wait for my body to get to rights. Yes, a low fat diet will help if this is the problem. I was also advised not to have heavily spicy foods either. I now work for a General Surgeon who undertakes gallbladder operations so that is what he advises patients whilst they are awaiting surgery. Also try to keep stress levels to a minimum - not an easy one I know. I found a hot water bottle my best friend during bad bouts. Thinking of you and take care. Kym xxx
