It's a smashing card and I hope the man in question is soon feeling better. A great numberof people have commented on heat embossing/warping so you are far from alone in this!

What a fabulous card! I haven't played with that stamp very much yet. Your colouring is stunning! If things warp I tend to put them under a heavy book and leave them there for about three days - normally sorts it.
I love the CAS feel to this card,must admit I've attempted to make some for the launch of Humphrey,I'll show them in the next few days,so not my usual style...Lovely image and the colouring and sentiment are beautiful..

Pinky, this is a lovely CAS card. I have such a difficult time with them but you've nailed this one!
Pinky, it's a great looking card! Love the coloring and shading you've done...very nice!
BTW...I posted a little tutorial on my blog for taking photos anytime of the day or night in a very inexpensive light box....anyone can do it, plus some tips that will help you get the "blue" look out of your card.
