Christmas in Ireland

I had a request for a Christmas card for  a very special lady who was coming home from Canada to Ireland for Christmas. I spent ages surfing the net trying to get a nice image that would do the job but not be too Irishy so to speak lol. I eventually came on a card I found at CAROL's fabulous blog and it just clicked with me. Carol is on the design team for The Emerald faerie Garden so off I went to check out the images. As it turned out the elves are from Emerald Faerie and the sign post is from Make it crafty so I just had to buy them both. I was totally inspired by Carol's card so want to give her full credit for using the two images together. Don't they work wonderfully!!
Images - Emerald Faerie and Make it Crafty
Papers - DCWV
Embellishments - marianne poinsettia die, card candi, embossing folder, glitter
Medium - the images are coloured using promarkers and pencils
I would like to enter this into
The Emerald Faerie challenge - non traditional colours (pink, green and white)
Seems a little Sketchy - followed their lovely sketch
Digital Tuesday - winter wonderland
Lollipop Crafts - happy holidays
One Stitch at a Time - use a digi
Sweet Stampin - things with wings
Simply create Too - embossing
Stampin for the Weekend - Christmas
