Shutter....another birthday!

Morning everyone. Its a cloudy, blustery start over here, nothing new then!!
Hope you are enjoying your weekend?
My card today was made for my s-i-l's birthday using my new shutter die from Tattered Lace. I was a bit disappointed at the size, quite small, and was expecting it to use a full a4 page but I suppose I could double it up to extend the width. It was good fun to work with, love the ease of getting the layers done but when it came to decorating it....it was hard to find a space for a good size image :(
Anyway here's my shopping list and the blogs I am entering

Image - Digi stamp boutique
Papers - K & Company
Medium - promarkers
Embellishments - from Nitwits, punched flowers, card candi
Sentiment - from magazine

Digi stamp boutique - June challenge

Have a bit of housework to do then ironing then crafting.
Hope you have a nice day planned and thanks for stopping by.
I really do love to read your comments.

You can indeed make it bigger quite easily Pinky by doubling it up and it makes a really interesting shape and something really different. I think Steph's idea was that it would fold into a DL envelope for posting.

But as you rightly say, it makes the matting and layering a doddle and takes away all the guesswork. And it's great card you have made with it today.

Thanks for the lovely birthday card.

Beautiful colours in the papers Pinky..love the image and details and such a neat fold. It looks big this end, but I found out doing a bend fold card that they don't come out big..love the shutter fold though and have a couple some where already pre folded.

Gorgeous card Pinky. It is very disappointing when a die turn put to be smaller than you thought. Love the shape.
