New Torchbearer at Amberink!

Well my reign as TORCHBEARER has come to an end at AMBERINK and I am so sad at it all coming to an end. This has been one of the most enjoying crafting experiences I have had in blog land and would truly recommend it to anyone who gets the chance to be a Torchbearer!

I have had lots of gorgeous images and papers to play with, I have worked with the most dedicated and talented group of girls and had the lovely experience of getting to know Amber, Pam and Shannon! So its with a heavy heart that I am passing my torch to my lovely friend

Please pop over and check out Lisa's first post for Amberink and give her some love.

I don't know about you but I am dying to see what the new bunch of torchbearers have in store for us so remember to call to AMBERINK store and see whats new!

So here is my final card as an Amberink Torchbearer (definitely not my final Amberink card though) and I have dedicated it to all the new torchbearers. I have used the lovely image from the GrowGreen stamp set available from here. These stamps are super top quality and lovely to work with!

On a final sad note I want to say a special thanks to Amber and Pam for choosing me in the first place, I have enjoyed every minute of it!

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

1. Cooking It Up With Katie - flowery, pink square

2. Simon says Challenge - Summery blue

Bunny box

The photos are not great, couldn't get outside and the shape of the box is not great for taking pics!
It looks small but its about 12 cm in diameter

Made a little circle box today to showcase these lovely little bunnies from Amberink! I used two circles, matted one onto a doily the other onto a lacy doily (cotton with a lacy crocheted lace edge). I cut the bands the depth I wanted and made slits so I could fold to attach to the bottom and top. I finished it with a ribbon. The image is coloured with promarkers and is available from HERE. I have left a space for a name to personalise it, just not sure who is going to be getting it yet. Think I will fill it with dolly mixtures.

I am entering this into these challenges:

1. Die Cut Dreams - use fabric (the bottom doily is cotton and lace)
2. The Crazy Challenge - forest friends
3. Cup Cake Crafts - lace (again the bottom doily is crocheted lace
4. Sarah Hurley - animals
5. Creatalicious Challenge - something 3d

Time for another show from the fabulous AMBERINK digis and ipapers. This time I have used the lovely OH WHAT A DOLL digi set with ipapers from the dolphin set. Again you can see how vivid and pretty the colours are. The digi set has so much to choose from so I added typical beach stuff ie a ball, a bag and glasses and of course your outfit for after swimming. I paper pieced the swimsuit and the outfit and coloured the rest with promarkers and copics. Can I keep him?

Time for another AmberInk preview! I absolutely adored making this shadow box card. The colours are so vibrant and fun and what about those images lol. This set is called CAN I KEEP HIM and the papers are called UNDERWATER iPAPERS. I printed the papers out on to a shimmery card then cut the circle using an old sizzix die. Made up my shadowbox and proceeded to decorate it. All the images are printed on card, coloured with promarkers and copics, sparkled with glitter and 3d. I added pearls to the little flowers. For the mermaid I gave her a nice pink tail, isn't her expression just adorable, how could you say no to that little one lol. Every single element came in the Can I Keep him digi set and there are even more images on it I didn't use this time! Remember to pop round the other girls and see what they have come up with (the links are on my sidebar. I'll be back tomorrow with another of my makes, just in time for the big opening on TUESDAY.

I am entering this card into these challenges:
1. One Stitch at a Time - use a digi
2. Oh Alice - dancing under the sea
3. Stamp Something - something digital
4. Daring Cardmakers - sea related

AMBERINK in the garden

Well here I am with my first official card for AmberInk, what do you think? I had great fun playing with this set which is called GROW GREEN. There is a set of digi images and lots of lovely ipapers in various shades and designs. I choose to use this lovely spotty version for the front of my shadow box and the leafy one for the background. All the images are printed off cut out, coloured with promarkers and applied to give dimension. I decided to make a little garden scene, look at the cabbages lol, I wrote snails out on the sign. The poor little snail looks totally miffed to be chased from his dinner lol. This set was so nice to work with and is available at AmberInk. Why do you pop over and check out what they have but be sure to keep an eye all for all the new stuff coming soon.

There is also a new group for AmberInk set up on PaperCraft Planet so pop over and become a follower.

I am entering this card into these challenges;
1. Creatalicious Challenge - Show some 3D
2. Papertake Weekly - in the garden

Want a little peek?

If you are an ipaper fan then you are just going to love the gorgeous papers which will be available at AMBERINK on Tuesday.
This is just a small sample of some of the papers I have been lucky enough to work with. The colours and styles are so funky and bright, they are a dream to print off!
This is a sneak peek of the dolphin papers, do you not love those colours?

This is from the seaweed collection, these were my favourite just because of the vibrant shades, I mean look at the shade of pink!!!

Now this one is from the gorgeous Hope, popcorn and wine papers, beautiful!!
Another sneak peek from the lovely Grow Green selection, again gorgeous shades and really pretty and useful designs!
I will be back tomorrow with one of my cards showing these particular papers. Hope you will pop by and let me know what you think.
Thanks for all your lovely congratulations yesterday, it was a very exciting day for us all and you all made it so nice with your lovely comments. Hugs
