Christmas card gang!

This fortnight we had a lovely sketch to play with from SALLY. I liked the sketch and decided to keep a white background and just use stripes of paper. The papers and the image are all from Craft House Press  using the Emma Thomson Dandelion collection.  Its a twisted bunny image lol. I added faux stitching, some card candy and sentiment. If you want inspiration from any of the other ladies just click on their names in my sidebar.

Crafthouse Press - Gorjuss Christmas girls

I wanted to make something that little bit different for my Niece's two little girls this Christmas as I was giving them money instead of a present (a bit of a cop out but I just hadn't a clue what to get a 3 year old and a 5 year old:() So I used the lovely Gorjuss Girls Kit from HERE. But I added some red to the stripes and popped a Christmas tree in the background. I just love this little box cards, they look so much nicer in real life and the little girls rang to say how much they loved them:) The little fox in the image was extra special to them as they lost their Grandad last year (my brother in law) and his surname was Fox. My sister has a fox garden ornament which the girls love to talk to:)

Crafthouse Press - cracker Christmas

I have a few more kits to use from Crafthouse Press and this is one of them. Its a lovely little decoupage set from Daisy and Dandelion, just pops out ready to add 3d foam. I mounted it on to red card from my stash. The background papers are from Patchwork pals, I love the warm colours and lovely patterns of the patchwork. The sentiment is stamped using Papermania stamps.

Cupcakes at Crafthouse

I made this card using a lovely new stamp from the FABULOUS range at Crafthouse Press. This stamp will be available soon. Its a great stamp to play with, good size and definitely easy to colour and lends itself to being able to add as much or as little decoration to the individual cupcakes. I used promarkers to colour mine and added lots of glitter!

Crafthouse Press - Gorjuss girls

I have another GORJUSS kit from Crafthouse Press for you today. This is just one of the loveliest little kits I have ever played with.
I have taken a few images to show the depth you get to these little 3d cards. I can honestly say it only took me 10 minutes to make this up. The kit comes ready to pop out. You get 5 box card sheets, 5 box card blanks and 5 envelopes!!
Having made one I really wanted to get on to the next one! I decided to see if I could simply take it to another level and make it a bit more personal. I punched three butterflies from the leftover sheet and added some glitter. I used another strip of leftovers and cut a grass edge and coloured with a promarker. There is just so much more you could do to change the initial appearance if you wanted to!
The side panels and back panel are all included in the kit, even leaving you a space for a sentiment on the back. I have kept the leftovers from the kit to use on another card as they are such lovely shapes.
And the best thing of all is that they fold flat for posting!!
If you would like to see more of these little kits then pop over to the Crafthouse Press!

Crafthouse Press

I had a wee play with a lovely decoupage pack I got from Crafthouse Press. This comes as a kit pack. You get backing paper and a sheet of decoupage which you can produce two cards from. This is one of the them, there are lots of layers but you don't have to use them all. I added a little sentiment to the tag, a big bow and a little candy cane. A quick and easy card. To go with the card I made a matching tag. The kit is from the Dandelion selection by Emma Thomson and you can find it HERE.
