After a very boring week (couldn't get my mojo going at all) we now have two sons who just got engaged! Happy times ahead. My youngest boy proposed on a frozen lake in Latvia!

We are heading over to his house (not Latvia lol) to have some celebrations now.

I spent a lot of today making a book style card, my very first one, and am really pleased with the finished result. I enjoyed it so much I went and ordered more lovely flowers from Wild Orchid! Shhhh! don't tell anyone! Well it was a miserable day and I have curbed my spending so much this year I thought I deserved a wee treat!

Heading to the seaside tomorrow, to fill up on diesel and blow some cobwebs away. Lets hope the weather cheers up a wee bit. Enjoy your weekend and thanks for dropping by.

Well the decking has been finished and we are super happy with it. Just need some nice weather before the holidays end and autumn arrives!

I am still crafting away just don't get the same time to blog any more but I honestly am trying harder to get on here when I can.

Just hanging

I got my little half baubles finished for my two little Grandsons today.

Pretty pleased with them but the photos really don't do them justice. The light kept bouncing off the bauble! 

I cut a piece of red card for each for the backing. Sean's has a lovely little image from Inger. He has been coloured with promarkers and glittered up, then I added some faux snow to make it a shaker bauble. I cut the circle to fit inside the bauble neatly and stuck it to the red card. I added glue to the edges of the bauble and stuck to the card, having added some fake snow to make it a shaker bauble.

Tom's is made using a Mo image, coloured with promarkers and sparkled up. I used the other half of the bauble and stuck in the same way, leaving out the snow. This is Tom's very first Christmas!

I finished with a little bell and gingham bow.

Still struggling with this cold, doesn't seem to want to leave me. Probably doesn't help with the showery weather we are having. Even flooded the back garden after Sunday's down pour!!

Hubby is back to school (work) now so hopefully I will be more organised lol.
