We have started to paint the living room. One of those jobs that leads to another job, and another lol. So I'm off to wax up the wooden furniture and skirtings!

I have decided to close my cardmaking business and just concentrate on enjoying some free time with hubby. We went away for a few days on Sunday to Donegal where I met up with my brother and his wife and had a great old time!. So roll on more of this!

How's things going with everyone?

My Grandkids are away for a weeks holidays so the house will be quiet. I have lots of work on and maybe some wedding invitations for the boys on my plate so being kept busy.

Well that's it all behind us for another year! Hope you all had a lovely Christmas and hopefully the year ahead will be kind to you. As I said we had the grandkids for Christmas, they were so entertaining lol if not exhausting but they both took naps which gave their parents some breathing space to get their dinner down them!

I am back crafting today as we were having a quiet new year with just me, Brian and Charlie.

We went for a half hour walk. It was freezing cold, very wet and very windy. Like needles hitting my face! Complete change of clothes when I got back!

My grandsons have been round for a few hours and Sean had a bath while he was here. They are in such great form its a real pleasure having to ourselves for a while.

Its been a busy weekend for me. We started decorating our bedroom, new flooring, painting, wallpaper, new bedding, curtains and hopefully tomorrow a new sliding robe. Its been hard work, just me and hubby beavering away (we make a great team). But with this cold still hanging around I am totally wrecked come tea time lol. I don't need much rocking when I go to bed though ;)
