Wings of romance


Over at Stampalot this month we have a photo inspiration challenge! You can decide to use lace, flowers, cute girl, beautiful lady, pretty soft colours or whatever you see in the photo.

Have wings will fly!



The challenge this month at Stampalot is take flight.
I decided to make a little gift voucher card to give to my daughter. She is a big fan of Starbucks!!
The image is a stamp my lovely blogging friend Brenda gave me. Its from Crafts and Me and is called In the Wind.  She has been coloured with promarkers.
The papers are from my stash and the bias binding is from Crafty Ribbons.
The little butterfly border holding the voucher is a cupcake liner from the pound shop. It is actually pink but doesn't look it in the photo:( I added a few punched butterflies to finish it off. 

We have a love prize up for grabs again from the fabulous Sir Stampalot!

Crafty Passion at Stampalot!

I hope you aren't sick of my crafty passion for baby cards just yet!! But here I am with another one and a wee reminder of our challenge over at STAMPALOT this month which is CRAFTY PASSION!
So come on over and join in, we have an amazing prize up for grabs and a design team that is full of inspiration. I mean these girls really know how to put a card together. They are an amazing bunch of talent and I certainly always get inspiration from them.

For my card I have went with my favourite baby stamp from Magnolia. The papers are digi papers from Pink Gem and Daisie Company. I have added stitching (another passion) and coloured with promarkers. The beautiful ribbon is from Ladybug Crafts Ink.

Crafty passion!

My passion is definitely Baby Cards, just ask Lisa Jane!! My favourite stamp is this Magnolia one, which I find works perfectly for girls and boys. My third favourite has to be a toss up between my promarkers and ribbon;)

Stampalot challenge

Birthday bash at Stampalot!


Well you can guess from the title that we are celebrating our 2nd Birthday over at 
What better way to celebrate than to have a blog hop with lots of prizes!! But we want you to work a wee bit for the prizes so we have a grid. You can pick up a letter at each of the design team blogs after leaving a comment and when you decipher the words leave a comment on the main blog and email the answer to brenda@ibas.co.uk...simple!
So onto my card.
The challenge this time is HAPPY BIRTHDAY and I have used the gorgeous stamps set from Hero Arts which also happens to be my prize kindly donated by Sir Stampalot!! Its a gorgeous little stamp set

I used one of the little girls, papers from my stash, coloured with promarkers. I add some white ribbon from my stash and velvet ribbon from Crafty Ribbons. The sentiment is a stamp from SeeD stamps and I used my nesties for the shapes. The flowers were punched from MS punch and I added some pearls.

Can we inspire you!

 This month at Sir Stampalot we were all given two lovely kits to play with so we naturally had two projects to make but you are only going to be seeing one from each of us today. The second will be shown later in the month when they will also be some exciting news!! Shhhhh!
So for this month's challenge we would like you to take inspiration from any of the design team cards. You can use the colours, the embellishments, the card layout, whatever inspires you. Just let us know in your post where you got your inspiration:) And the reward for playing along will be.....

Let's go out to the garden!!


 Our challenge this month at STAMPALOT is IN THE GARDEN. We want to see anything related to the garden. As ever there is a gorgeous prize by our sponsors SIR STAMPALOT!

Sir Stampalot - monochromatic


 Oh boy am I late with this. I totally wrote down the wrong date for the start of our challenge at Sir Stampalot and only I came across Ruth's lovely card I might have been 4 days late:(  Good start to the new year eh, my marbles are in a right state lol. Anyway our new challenge has started and we want to see all things monochromatic! The prize will be a lovely surprise for one lucky winner from the lovely people  at  SIR STAMPALOT.

Bingo!


Our December challenge at Sir Stampalot is a Bingo choice board! Which should give you all lots of options and look at the prize that the good people at Sir Stampalot have donated!!

 This is the bingo choice. I chose the centre line LACE, FLOWERS and TAGS. 
The flower tag is from  The Big One cd which has been decoupaged. I stamped the little House mouse image and placed him below the flowers, like he is looking up. I added lots of embellishments including lace, peel off corners, peel off borders, border die from Crafty Sentiments, some lace and some pleated ribbon.

Must never be seen??

Our challenge this month at Sir Stampalot is BLUE AND GREEN! Not a combination I often use but luckily I found these lovely papers which seemed to suit perfectly. I made a thank you card and followed the theme of the dragonfly from the papers.

Food glorious food!

Hubby's operation went well, finally got home after 7 hours waiting. He was very groggy and sick but has slept a lot and will be dosed with painkillers for a few days. Thanks for all your kind wishes:)

 The start of the month means another lovely challenge from Sir Stampalot and this month is all about food!
And to follow with that theme just look at the prize, gorgeous or what! All supplied by the lovely
 Sir Stampalot! 
So for my project I decided to tie in my food theme with halloween as we always have either apple pie or apple crumble. I have had this gorgeous Elizabeth Bell stamp for a long time and never inked it up!! Perfect opportunity now:)

I made a little cake box to go along with it but will probably just fill it with rhubarb and custard sweeties.

 A busy morning for me today, this is the first of two posts. Its 1st September, my 32nd Wedding Anniversary and where is my hubby....back to school lol. He wasn't a teacher needless to say when we got married, in fact he was at university! We were so young lol. Anyway onto my card.
Our challenge this month at Sir Stampalot is IT'S A FRAME UP! we want to see a frame somewhere on your project.

Sir Stampalot challenge

Hi everyone, finally got to post something, I have been trying for a few hours now and in the end it would only allow me to upload one pic so if you want to see the wonderful prize from the lovely people at Sir Stampalot then you need to go to the challenge blog HERE.
