StampFairy - anything but a card

Our challenge this week at STAMPFAIRY is anything but a card!
This week I decided to make a collection can for a charity we collect for during Lent. I bought a large Harry Potter money can from Poundland. It was so big a 12'' square paper wouldn't meet at the back so I found some old wrapping paper I had kept (as you do) which fitted perfectly. It has a gorgeous sparkle to it and a lovely deep shade of purple.  Its now parked at the front door so all callers might feel obliged to drop a few pennies in:)
Papers - old wrapping paper
Sentiment - computer generated cut with fancy cutter
Medium - promarkers
I cut out the image and stuck to wrapping paper.

StampFairy - hearts and lace

I WAS CHOSEN FOR THE TOP 3 FOR DIE CUT DREAMS WITH THIS CARD!
We have a lovely challenge this week at StampFairy - hearts and lace but there is a twist - No pink or red!!! I decided to go with an all white design so that my bears would take centre stage. Aren't they so cute? I embossed my base card with a dotty folder, embossed the next layer with hearts folder and added a line of glitter to all the edges. The lace is from my stash (well originally from the tie back of a net curtain lol) which I knotted. I cut some hearts and embossed them with my swirls embossing folder and added some glitter.  The bears called Donny and Donna were coloured with my promarkers. I kept her bow and the hearts white and added some glitter. Hope you all get time to have a little play along this week and remember you MUST use a StampFairy image to enter the challenge! But don't worry if you haven't got any as there are always freebies available:)

StampFairy - handmade flowers

We have a lovely challenge at StampFairy this week:) We want to see you make your own flowers!! They can be punched, ripped, crushed, glittered, moulded etc etc etc. I decided to use a heavy card for my flowers. I have always used paper or tissue or crepe so thought I would see what effect I would get with card. I drew 3 sizes of circles for each flower, cut out with ragged scissors then soak with a squirt of water. I then squashed them, dryed them and opened up again. I assembled them with a brad and added some glitter. They look good in real life so was pleased enough with them. Hope you all get time to have a wee play yourselves and join our challenge this week.
