Today, with this lovely warm weather over here in Ireland, I made a seaside card!
I used the very useful
and the very useful
Stamps are from Whiff of Joy
Medium - promarkers
Papers - Stampin Up black and white paper and card
Background papers are from an old marbled set of papers
that come in 5 pastel shades. I knew it would be useful one day!
So to make my card I cut the Seashell Corner die out twice and cut away the shells to
use as embellishments on my card.
Next I used the Dotted Nesting Squares, two different sizes to cut out one striped square
and one red and one blue of the larger square.
I prepared my card base by tearing some yellow paper and matting onto some
marbled paper for the sky and sand.
Next I assembled my beach huts by cutting the striped square into triangles
for the roof and cutting a rectangle of white for the doors.
I drew the circles and added faux stitching.
I adhered the huts to my card and added the shells around them.
I stamped some beach images, coloured them up and 3d them onto the card.
I even used some tiny little off cuts from the Seashell die to pop over the top of the doors.
There was very little waste from the die cuts.
I hope you like my finished project.
