Tree of life

Today I am sharing a card I made using the fabulous die called

TREE OF LIFE

I just love this die, so many possibilities from the CAS design to lots of layers.

You might be seeing me use this again and again.

But today I went with a clean and simple design as I thought when I cut it out in white card,

it just oozed delicacy!

I choose a soft pink card for my card base and rounded the corners on my envelope board.

I cut the TREE OF LIFE out once in white card.

I added 3d foam to the back of the tree.

Next I stamped my chosen sentiment, (sorry the photo refuses to turn round for me)

onto white card and adhered to the bottom of my card.

The simple added the TREE OF LIFE in position.

I was tempted to add some pearls or gems but I honestly feel it doesn't need it.

The design team were lucky enough to get a Pink Gem image to play with. I have used Chloe with Daffodils.

I cut her out so I could 3d her slightly and added a bit of chalk grass to her feet. The sentiment stamp is from my stamp collection and unfortunately doesn't have a brand on it. I used a colour palette stamp pad in primary colours for the sentiment. I added some pin pricking round the edges of the card. Chloe has been coloured with promarkers.

I took the plunge and designed this one so hope someone joins in:)

I used these gorgeous digi papers from Crafty Sentiments, the image is called Innocense. I took the flowers from the digi paper, made them a bit bigger and cut them out. She is coloured with promarkers and the gorgeous ribbon is from Crafty Ribbons which I bought in their sale.
