The weather is being such a pain this week. Every time we go to cut the grass or clean round the garden it buckets. Step inside and it stops!! What the heck??
So lots of crafting done and a lovely day trip with hubby on Wednesday.
Hope your week has went well and enjoy the weekend.

It's a fairy sort of day...

design team favourite

Today is one of my days to showcase one of the July Teddy Bea Bundle from Teddy Bo.
Isn't this such a cute little image for a promising princess or wanna be fairy!
I loved colouring her in.
The papers are from My Minds Eye.
I used promarkers and glitter glue.
The flowers I made from air dry clay, coloured blue with distress inks.
Hope you like it.

Well I am happy to say all three weddings are now behind me and I can hopefully begin to get back into a routine. One more bump in our lives though. My hubby goes in for his operation tomorrow so keeping everything crossed and all prayers said to hope he comes out with a positive result.
Nerve wrecking!!
We are having glorious weather here at the minute, well the last two days at least lol. So everything is going at a slow pace!
Hopefully I will get more posting and more commenting done now.
Have a great week and stay safe.

Chapter in your life

Friday afternoon, taking a wee break from housework to share one of my makes.
This is my first attempt at making a book card and I am really pleased with the outcome.
It was make for a little boy's Christening Day.

I used lots of dies from various companies:
Marianne, Tonic, Marianne, Tattered Lace,  Spellbinders and a bunch of gorgeous flowers and leaves from Wild Orchid Crafts.
Papers are from Daisie Company.
I also used beautiful ribbon from Crafty Ribbons, and lots of pearls.
Hope you like it.

We are having a little birthday tea for my mother-in-law tonight. So I have been cleaning and cooking all afternoon. Was hoping my Grandkids would be here but the poor wee pets are both sick.
Have a great weekend and thanks for dropping by.

Bags galore

I made this for Mother's Day a while back for a friend and never got to share so when I came across Tonic's new challenge blog I decided to blog it!

I used the Kensington Handbag die for this project and some gingham card and pink card. (Photo looks so different in each pic but its the same bag lol)
I made two little cards for inside, one with a nice Mother verse and the other showing the present.
I finished it off with ribbon and a Marianne butterfly die.
I have gathered up a right few Tonic dies lately so was extremely happy to see the new challenge blog! Best of luck to all the ladies on the design team, very inspirational!

Weather has been rotten here this week. After a gorgeous hot week we now have wind and rain and grey skies! Hope it cheers up for the weekend as my niece is getting married over in Wales.

Flower Power reminder

I'm dropping by with a mid month reminder for our challenge of
FLOWER POWER
There is a great prize up for grabs so be sure and pop over there.
It was my turn to challenge myself and do a technique I hadn't done before and I went with colouring with pencils on kraft paper, and using a bit of gesso as well!
I made this card for my Aunt's birthday. It is totally out of my normal cardmaking skills and definitely was a challenge but a lot of fun.

Items I used
Papers from a Papermania pad called Rose Garden, kraft paper, pink card, doilies
Stamps - summer flowers (geranium) from Creative Expressions, Happy Birthday stamp freebie from magazine
Coloured with Pencils and Sansodor solvent, gesso
Embellishments - lace, MS heart punch, Tonic rectangle die,  Tonic Flower punch and stamp, Tonic Leaf punch and stamp, bow, pre printed butterflies from Nitwits, letters from Papermania pad, pearls

I coloured my flowers and then set about making the flowers and putting the card together. This took way longer than the colouring lol, thought I would never be happy with it and finally settled with this!
Hope you get time to join our challenge and best of luck to you all.

We had lovely weather yesterday for St.Patrick's Day. Went to Mass and sang my wee heart out lol (thankfully they had the words on the screen or I wouldn't have remember the second verse).
The rest of the day was spent indoors as I took a funny stomach and was fit for nothing!
My grandkids are still away on holidays so looking forward to seeing them next week.
Have a nice weekend.
