I had a card request from my lovely daughter-in-law Trish for a new baby girl and this is what I came up with.
I wanted to make something a wee bit more special so went with an z fold style.
I used:

Chapter in your life

Friday afternoon, taking a wee break from housework to share one of my makes.
This is my first attempt at making a book card and I am really pleased with the outcome.
It was make for a little boy's Christening Day.

I used lots of dies from various companies:
Marianne, Tonic, Marianne, Tattered Lace,  Spellbinders and a bunch of gorgeous flowers and leaves from Wild Orchid Crafts.
Papers are from Daisie Company.
I also used beautiful ribbon from Crafty Ribbons, and lots of pearls.
Hope you like it.

We are having a little birthday tea for my mother-in-law tonight. So I have been cleaning and cooking all afternoon. Was hoping my Grandkids would be here but the poor wee pets are both sick.

Bags galore

I made this for Mother's Day a while back for a friend and never got to share so when I came across Tonic's new challenge blog I decided to blog it!

I used the Kensington Handbag die for this project and some gingham card and pink card. (Photo looks so different in each pic but its the same bag lol)
I made two little cards for inside, one with a nice Mother verse and the other showing the present.
I finished it off with ribbon and a Marianne butterfly die.
I have gathered up a right few Tonic dies lately so was extremely happy to see the new challenge blog! Best of luck to all the ladies on the design team, very inspirational!

I treated myself to the tattered lace tree die a few weeks ago and it arrived last week so had to use it. I cut it out in white and coloured it with promarkers. Its a big die and I just love it.
I am dosed with the cold at the minute and hubby is too but my daughter's friend from Germany is still having fun lol. They have been heading out each day to see the local sights and the weather has been warm and dry thankfully with the odd shower now and then.
Thanks for dropping by
