Sentimental Rose

How's everyone today?
I am here to share a sympathy card I made for  Tutti Designs using this beautiful

Sadly this type of occasion is one that hits us all at sometime.

I only used lilac card with the white to keep it soft and simple.
Cut the Rose frame in white card and emboss. As it is an intricate frame be sure and run it
through your cutting machine a few times, or add an extra shim, for best results.

Then using sticky dots I adhered to a piece of lilac card and trimmed to fit white rose frame.
Keep the white centre from the die cut to stamp your sentiment.

Trim a piece of lilac card and run through with chosen embossing folder.
I went with roses to match the Rose Frame.

I added a piece of vintage lace to tie in with the soft look.

Next I stamped my chosen sentiment in the off cut from the Rose Frame.
Be sure to have the off cut facing right way as it fits in nicely then.

I stuck this in centre of frame. Added 3d foam to back and adhered to my card.
Now it's time to make the flowers.

Using Scalloped Stitched Nesting Circles I cut
4 circles for centre flower and 3 for two smaller flowers.
Hold these in place with a brad. Doesn't matter if not the same as
I will be covering them later.

Spray the flowers with water and scrunch up. Then dry off with heat tool.

Gently re-open the flowers, drying again if necessary.
Add a punched lilac circle and adhere to centre.
Add to your card and finish with a nice bow.

Thanks for dropping by, I hope you like my card!

For my card I used:
Lilac card, rose embossing folder, circle punch, lace, organza ribbon
Satin paper for flowers
Stamp is from Our Daily Bread

Well I had a great time at my sister Ursula's over in Wales and she and her daughter Emma flew back with us to stay a few days over here in my older sister Fionnuala's house. We were all out partying last night at my Aunt's 50 wedding anniversary party and today they are all coming round for dinner. By Monday I will be ready to lie down lol. We have had a great week. We actually got to meet up with my two brothers in Wales as they made a surprise visit. First time we have all been together from our Mum died. So great to make some nice memories!!
I have the heating on here this morning, bright but chilly!! Autumn has officially arrived so be sure and get out those lovely colours and make a card for our challenge!!
Thanks for dropping by.

Traditional Christmas

Its my turn this month to share my favourite stamps over at STAMPING SENSATIONS where the theme this month is Simply Christmas.
This is one of the cards.
I used
Stamp from Our Daily Bread
Ink - memento rich cocoa
Coloured with chameleon pens
Embellishments - satin ribbon, bow, glitter, gems/bling

I stamped the yellow card with a free text stamp from a magazine in memento ink and ink up the edges to give it a vintage feel.
The image was stamped and coloured with chameleon pens, then I inked up the edges of it too and added some glitter.
I finished the card with satin ribbon and bow and some bling.
This is definitely one of my favourite stamps! Hope you like it too.
I would like to enter this into
Our Daily Bread - use something beginning with letters from BLESSINGS (bow, glitter, satin ribbon, ink)

Well that's me. I try and get back during the week to show another card I made or you can pop by STAMPING SENSATIONS and see them all there.
