Bunny chocolate box

Happy St.Patrick's Day!!

Today, for my Tutti Designs day,  I have made a little treat box for Easter using

I cut the Bunny out in lovely white felt.

It cut easily through the felt.
Next I created the box to suit the size of  the Floral Rabbit.

I used a piece of kraft card measuring 11.5x3.5 inches.
Scored it on short side at 1/2" and 3"
Scored it on long side at 1/2", 51/2",6" and 11"
then cut as shown in photo above.

One side will fold on top of other to form the box.

I marked the centre of the opening so I could punch a half circle to make
it easier to open box.

Using some green card I hand cut some spikes for grass and adhered to bottom of box.

I added glue to the back of my Floral Bunny and tucked him behind the grass.
I used a black pen to add eyes, nose and whiskers.

I cut up some tissue paper (really need to get some of that ready made stuff) and filled box with chocolate bars.
I added a little bow to the Floral Rabbit which I coloured with a marker
to match the grass.
The sentiment was generated on my computer.

Hope you like it!

For my project I used

Kraft card, white felt, green card and a bow

Scrap the Boys first card challenge!

It's finally arrived, our very first challenge over at

Please join us, using the sketch below, to make a male card!

For my card I used a very old vintage golfer stamp I had, not sure where it's from but it had never been inked.
The papers are from Nitwits and embellishments are just cut out from the paper.
I thought greens went well with the vintage feel.
I coloured the image with promarkers and the background with aqua markers.

Tree of life

Today I am sharing a card I made using the fabulous die called

I just love this die, so many possibilities from the CAS design to lots of layers.
You might be seeing me use this again and again.
But today I went with a clean and simple design as I thought when I cut it out in white card,
it just oozed delicacy!

I choose a soft pink card for my card base and rounded the corners on my envelope board.
I cut the TREE OF LIFE out once in white card.

I added 3d foam to the back of the tree.

Next I stamped my chosen sentiment, (sorry the photo refuses to turn round for me)
onto white card and adhered to the bottom of my card.
The simple added the TREE OF LIFE in position.
I was tempted to add some pearls or gems but I honestly feel it doesn't need it.

You can purchase this beautiful die HERE
and it's a very special price at the minute!!

You've got rhythm...

Today I had a card to make for a special young man who loves his music
and what better die to use than

I cut the Musical Stave out twice in white card.

I measured out a piece of green card to fit my base card and adhered
the two Musical Staves to the top and bottom leaving a tiny bit of excess.

I trimmed around the die just leaving the overhang.

I added some nice striped paper underneath the green card.

Stamped my sentiment in middle and finished off with the
Happy Birthday greeting and the Grandson and name.

I think it's pretty cool!

For my card I used:

Paper from Birthday Memories
Green card from Tutti Frutti a4 cardstock
Names generated on computer

How cute is it, that the barn door works on the slider!

I embossed the lines on the yellow card on my scoring board,  to add some texture and
added some gold candi to tie in with the elements.

Items used:

First Communion crosses

For my Tutti Designs card today I made a First Holy Communion card using

which was perfect for my needs.

I cut the die out twice. One in white the other in gold mirri card.

I matted the white Holy Crosses die cut onto some pale pink paper.

Then I  matted some pink cross paper onto my card then stuck the white
Holy Crosses die cut in position.
Next I cut away the three crosses from the gold mirri card so I could layer them on top
of the white die cut and added 3d squares to the centre cross to give it some depth.

I then added pearls to the centre of each cross.

I finished the card by colouring my chosen image, added some punched crosses
and pearls and the sentiment.

Hope you like it.

For my project I used:
Image - Alicia Bel
Papers - from my stash
Medium - promarkers
Embellishments - Holy Crosses die, pearls, cross punch

I am entering this card into:

My poor Mother in law has been in hospital all week so we have had a busy week
back and forth to the hospital. Got a phone call to say she was getting out yesterday
but 3 hours later they decided to keep her. So upsetting for her.
Fingers crossed another few days will see her on the mend.
The weather here is just getting colder and colder, I honestly thought
that little peak of spring was here to stay. I need some heat!!
I treated myself to a lovely new stamp set and matching thinlets (Barn Door) from Stampin' Up!
So watch this space. Very excited to have a play with it.

More exciting news!!

I can now reveal I am a designer for
SCRAP the BOYS card makers challenge!
We will be officially open on March 15th but you can pop over there now and
check out the new design team!!

Have a lovely weekend peeps and thanks for dropping by.
